@awscloud released a post-mortem on their outage last week & claimed their outages were due to an automated activity failure. Today marks the 3rd outage from AWS THIS MONTH. These outages really highlight the reality that automation, while important, doesn't replace human touch.

@awscloud get it together. Your web services going down so much is seriously putting kinks in people’s incomes. So since we can’t work we get no Christmas. Please fix these issues quickly. Also those businesses that rely on these services find back up plans for your workers.

Can someone personally DM me from @eMedCertified @AbbottNews or @awscloud about this ongoing outage. My wife and I (like many others) will not be able to get back into the US if this outage isn’t fixed tonight. There are no local testing options available before our 6 am flight
