Nintendo Switch Online Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • Smigman1 Smigman֍ (@Smigman1) reported

@Jodz_R I need to know if there is any lag, or delay for game play. I have all old retro consoles from nintendo (8-bit), SEGA, SNES, PS1, PS1, PS2, Game cube, wii, etc.

  • uparack crisis (@uparack) reported

@lilcashcache usually just disconnect the batter and pod and throw it in my nintendo switch bag and it’s fine

  • OPIV92 JackAttack (@OPIV92) reported

@FirionKaiser @MRSmith_9 @VGC_News The issue with the state of Nintendo is they built a console that came out 4 years after console that it was immediatley outdated by and could keep up to consumer wants/expectations. Such as we still get ps4 titles today. The switch cannot due this because of its limitations.

  • ROGUETROOPER732 ROGUETROOPER732 (@ROGUETROOPER732) reported

@NintendoUK Ice Beam + Missile = Problem solved

  • LuigiBlood Yakumono (@LuigiBlood) reported

@PuNkY_YT The problem is how each GBA do things differently and then having to choose one because Nintendo loves the idea of having an emulator with the least amount of configuration and having it in a way that "just works" which I do respect in some ways.

  • greatmightysmew Greatmightysmew (@greatmightysmew) reported

@NintendoUK And not just Prime but Metroid 2 on the online service... (although I'd prefer a port of the 3DS remake.)

  • HatokTalk hatok (@HatokTalk) reported

even like, hearing that the new GBA emulation Nintendo introduced is really high end, vs people saying that the classic games Sony's slowly rolling out have the exact same emulation issues they had before, they really just don't give a ****

  • indiejacob indiejacob (@indiejacob) reported

@Thewolfpack23x I think I personally had more respect for the Wii U until the Switch came out and I saw Nintendo pretty much fix every single issue with the Wii U and then proceeded to port most of the good games off of it. Now, I just kind of look at the Wii U as one of Nintendo's mistakes.

  • 3good5you 3good5you (@3good5you) reported

@JoCr2 This actually makes a ton of sense for my levels; I've had a lot taken down, but one level in particular that wasn't (Cargo Space) surprised me; it has a pretty blatant glitch if you play it, but since I never trigger it in the clear check, maybe Nintendo never noticed.

  • fperezroa Felipe Perez Roa (@fperezroa) reported

@Kintinue Library is gigantic especially if you already have games on steam, you can also emulate if you're missing some Nintendo games. Putting it to sleep and restarting is basically instantaneous. It's got its issues but for me they're all minor.

  • iamtheonexo I Λm The One (@iamtheonexo) reported

@ThePigeonFish @wasduk1 @RaveofRavendale For larger publishers, it’s also subsidized by Microsoft. This can be a bad thing when you consider Sony and Nintendo can’t play the subsidization game for a decade like MS will be able to. Not to mention Sony’s had to turn to MS azure for infrastructure. it’s a monopoly issue.

  • ViceXXII VICΞ  (@ViceXXII) reported

@8BitCR @iFireMonkey @FortniteStatus Seems to be a Nintendo Switch related problem since in consoles they look normal

  • Adamcommonsense Mr Common Sense (@Adamcommonsense) reported from Wibsey, England

@MldGhost @TWTHEREDDRAGON Im curious Hows a service obsolete They add games monthly Your issue is they dont do it the same as your preferred brand But neither Playstation or Nintendo do and they seem to be doing particularly well Would you not agree

  • AHalfNickel Nickel (@AHalfNickel) reported

@ExpansionLord Well there is one difference there, Metroid is a Nintendo ip, and switch exclusive. It’s always the third party non exclusives that seem to have issues at launch. Still BAMCO could’ve done better but this would be an apples to oranges comparison

  • SladePlaysGames Slade (@SladePlaysGames) reported

@Between2Gamers I hadn't paid for an online service since the 360, but gamepass has my money. Playstation is too complicated so can't be bothered. The only thing that's the same value as Game pass is Nintendo online.

  • tctt185_dg DavidG185 (@tctt185_dg) reported

@NintendoUK That's good but the only problem is that I dabbled in 1. So I don't remember much about it on the Wii U. 2 is where I really get into it and unfortunately that Hub World is devoid of colour and coral. I wonder if that's going to be like the game #DeBlob by any chance. 🤔

  • kiaria2013 Aria🔨 (@kiaria2013) reported

Don’t worry @NintendoAmerica, @GuliKitDesign fixed it for you now you don’t have fix anymore joycons with garbage sticks again. We can just do it ourselves.

  • 8x4OL Liam (@8x4OL) reported

my birthday on nintendo is a day off because i made my profile very quickly, but i dont thinkk they would fix that

  • crestofcunt rach (190/180) (@crestofcunt) reported

@icetypetrainer oh my god and a screen protector is like... semi-permanent NINTENDO FIX UR **** WTF

  • BrodieDickRider ᴬᶻᶻʸ⚡️ ⁽²⁷⁻²⁹⁾ (@BrodieDickRider) reported

@kuntpop @CentroLeaks im pretty sure this is a nintendo issue- gamefreak has to work in the timeframe nintendo gives them and if they can’t do everything nintendo wants in that amount of time whatever is left just gets scrapped

  • EdFiftyNine_ Ed 🧟‍♂️ (@EdFiftyNine_) reported

@JordanMiddler I believe @Tolkoto is the go to leaker for collectibles in Nintendo games. He’s fresh out Nintendo jail so will have no problems answering this! 😬

  • TheRealEnate JRPG Enate 🔜 Hogwarts Legacy (@TheRealEnate) reported

@ShadowEliteHD Exactly an you realize how little that is if you want to build up some higher tier + skills. Costing upwards of 5k sp or more when they barely give you any. I really wish @Nintendo @NintendoAmerica would address the sp gain issue but they probably won't 😥

  • ovoon7 Johnnie B Good (@ovoon7) reported

@braindeadrascal I paid for PS+ Premium in the Summer because the initial library was good, but they are so slow with the releases. It's just like Nintendo Online. I hate that they include games you can stream via PS Now. I will never touch those because they have latency issues.

  • AutistiCat2406_ xX-BoobFan69-Xx (@AutistiCat2406_) reported

@RespectfulMemes If this were nintendo the boy would be in legal trouble

  • OPIV92 JackAttack (@OPIV92) reported

@FirionKaiser @MRSmith_9 @VGC_News The issue with the state of Nintendo is they built a console that came out 4 years after consoles that it was immediatley outdated by and could keep up to consumer wants/expectations. Such as we still get ps4 titles today. The switch cannot do this because of its limitations.

  • KazekoYuki Yuki Kazeko (@KazekoYuki) reported

@NerdlyDragon I do not believe they will put the main series GB/GBC/GBA games IN the actual Nintendo GB/GBA online service. I believe they will make it so you can BUY them. That way, you can connect them to Home. (Something I have no problems with.)

  • UeharaRiyo Riyo Uehara (@UeharaRiyo) reported

@NE_Brian hello nintendo made a problem with Xenoblade Chronicles 3 DLC I got 2/15/23 updated but they you can play until 2/30/23 which is wrong since February only has 28 days unless it leap year

  • hydraconian Kenneth Zimmerman III (@hydraconian) reported

@Lokeefe9 @NintendoAmerica If they do pokemon games They'll just need to nullify save states. They could keep rewind for the sake of misclicks. Rewind is nullified when you play online on gba anyway so it would prevent cloning. The real trouble is connectivity to pokemon home and possibly the console games

  • KazekoYuki Yuki Kazeko (@KazekoYuki) reported

@NerdlyDragon You need to think about how the past Nintendo systems thing operates to realize just how terrible of an idea NOT adding it as something you can buy in the eshop would be I have no problems paying $9 a game if it means they can connect to Home; like the 3DS ones connected to Bank

  • Rural_Tex Rural Tex (@Rural_Tex) reported

@GamingSupanova Well, your assumptions were nothing short of common sense. Simple math. Game Pass is a glorified rental service. People don’t buy a Switch to play NES/SNES games with Nintendo Online. People don’t by a PlayStation to play last gen remasters and PS1/2/PSP games with Plus Premium.
