    @Ardiaei1912 @PriestessKikyo1 @PrimeVideo Even if he had a shorter hair they could have spent a minute or two explaining why he had it, like maybe it would allow him to move more freely or be stealthier (capes and long hairs have been an issue before, just look at Superman or movies where the villains pull by the hair).

    @mrtshain @ji_asri @PrimeVideo Because men are stupid and she has to enlighten them. The male characters have this particular personality traits like being stupid, cowards or being the angry ones. This Tv show is just pulling out all the worst of the woke agenda by twisting and spiting on the Tolkien’s legacy.

    @PrimeVideo @LOTRonPrime I couldn’t make it past the first episode. Terrible!

    @PrimeVideo Terrible show. I will always love LOTR, but not this nonsense.

    Voice of War (@Ardiaei1912) reported

    @PriestessKikyo1 @PrimeVideo Honestly, so far diversity isn't a problem in the series, although the looks coukd've been better. Dis shoukd've had a longer beard, Mirial looks way out of place (should've been a Harad queen or something) and Arondir shoukd've had long hair to pass for a true elf.

    @DaviAnj00870830 @buffalotiger641 @PrimeVideo Oh and of course there's also Squid Game, Money Heist, Bridgerton, The Witcher, Lucifer... Netflix isn't lacking in shows that are near and dear to the general public, it's pathetic to speak of them as if they are suddenly terrible.

    Just tried watching “Rings of Power” on @PrimeVideo @amazon. After the trauma of trying work out how to use Prime on the TV, eventually got into Episode 1 of Season 1. Tolkien must be spinning in his grave. What an absolute travesty the show is … cont’d

  • mrtshain

    @ji_asri @PrimeVideo Therefore, what happened is conveyed by her as a historical fact. In this case, whether Galadriel's narration is a reference to the future or a prediction from her own perspective poses a huge problem when evaluated from the viewer's point of view.

    Just watched 13 lives on @PrimeVideo A good reminder of the when decent humans came together to solve a problem. Unfortunately that’s good old days of 2018.

    @PrimeVideo Garbage, terrible casting. Nobody fits their roles, acting is laughable. Guyladrial killing the Troll just Pathetic looked so corny. Script written by amateurs. Just BAD

    @Billetje5000 @PrimeVideo @LOTRonPrime Terrible writing choice.

  • DrThalaSiren
    Thala Siren (@DrThalaSiren) reported

    @ReverseParkin @PrimeVideo @LOTRonPrime You only have to watch the first 20 minutes of The Room of Mac and Me to see the problems. You don't have to wait to the end to make criticisms. Rings of Power is a much better production, obviously, but the principles still stand.

  • DrThalaSiren
    Thala Siren (@DrThalaSiren) reported

    @ReverseParkin @PrimeVideo @LOTRonPrime Characters keeping secrets so that the plot can happen is bad writing, often called "idiot plots". It's a classic writing error. These secret will not be "explained" (whatever that means) because they have to exist to force the drama and stakes the writers want to force.
