Tons of them abandoned ship during Universe and between that and DVD decline, it killed the franchise. MGMs concern is that old school fans (who might not stay) don't want a reboot and newcomers won't want 17 season of homework.

The problem is not the amount but when a customer is not willing to select the option explicitly why are you adding up the amount for it willingly.
