@j_goats @abhiaiden @PrimeVideo It doesn't really matter the Tolkien estate has authorized the show as part of the canon so now we have black elves - meaning there was obviously not an objective description of them only being white that would have broken from canon if they included black elves.

So this is a book utterly different than reality i don't ******* wanna see about populism or etc. İf there is no black elf then it shouldn't be!

Channel 5 did a TV series on Anne Boleyn with a black actress (Jodie Turner-Smith), and I dont have a problem with that at all. LoTR has a huge fanbase, and the trailer disappointed, but the next one will hopefully be better.

@AZV04 @LOTRonPrime @PrimeVideo My problem is the creation of characters when they have thousands of years worth to pick from, it's worrying and shows the writers just don't want to research fully, and the fact that the bat robot guys are involved is worrying enough. Time will tell.
