@badmonk_uk @LOTRonPrime @PrimeVideo I have a problem with them deliberately choosing to not use anything other than the appendices when they could have used all of the lore. This way they have to make nearly everything up as they can't write anything that is in lore because they aren't licensed.

@13cyanic @AmunetBastet04 @PrimeVideo It is important to portray Tolkien's work EXACTLY as he wrote it, or not at all. There are no black elves in the legendarium. Not a single one. Nor any black dwarves. If skin colour was not important, they should have left it as it was. But they HAD TO push the "correct" race.

@PrimeVideo Total Garbage casting is terrible, the worse casting I ever seen, nobody fits their role, this not Tolkiens middle earth it's just a woke fantasy show made to please but failed. Just using character names and insulting Tolkien and his work I won't watch this trash.

@PrimeVideo @PrimeVideoIN the Lord of the Rings trilogy on Prime, has very poor DVD picture quality. The LOTR trilogy, all extended versions, was re released on BluRay in 2011. Why hasnt Amazon acquired/ uploaded the blu ray "extended" versions for consumers?

@PrimeVideo VPN detection in your player seems to be misbehaving. I'm in New Zealand, tried to watch new LoTR on M1 Macbook Air. Firefox/Safari/Chrome all show error about VPN. I'm not on a VPN.

@LOTRonPrime @PrimeVideo I personally feel like this is the wish version of Lord of the Rings. It's poorly written and the acting is terrible. The source material was ignored and it shows. Amazon, you guys really failed miserably with this. It had so much potential to be good, but you blew it.

RT score is 80% critics (no surprise) - 34% audience. Plus Amazon have blocked subscribers from voting on it. That tells you all you need to know. Watch HotD instead.
