@HackedOffHugh @PrimeVideo Sub titles work well for me; I watched Heimat this way and thought it was so brilliant that I wasn't "translating" it in my head. Started watching a dubbed film and it was like some awful advert where theirs don't match the voice.

@anatomatt @sleepybijou @PrimeVideo Its not traumatic....it triggers trauma in people with underlying issues...if you watched Saw and Final Destination what they endured is no Worse as for as the murder scenes....judge for yourself but use Saw as the standard.i found Saw and FD worse

@HackedOffHugh @PrimeVideo English dubbing is so awful! I don't know if the actors are schooled to be as wooden as possible but they are. In Comparison to German synchronisations the English versions are amateurish.

@HackedOffHugh @PrimeVideo Watched Borgen again on Netflix and it defaulted to dubbed version before I managed to change it. The quality of the dubbing was so poor would have been far superior if they had used the original Danish actors as their command of English is outstanding.

Woah, A+ customer service @PrimeVideo team. Got a refund from Amazon for terrible service that was 100% caused by @GetSpectrum (NOT Amazon). Now if only you could help me get another option outside of (terrible horrible barely usable) Spectrum.

@TheOpenRoadTou1 @PrimeVideo Ultimate road trip? Right across Europe in an Aston. Spending as much time in the flash my places as possible. I think I’d have to pay special attention to Italy though. I haven’t been and I’m not sure where to start. So travelling the whole way through top to bottom would work.
