@LOTRonPrime @PrimeVideo Like my initial problem with this isnt the black elves or dwarfes, its the screwing with lore for me. for example The elves just looking like humans with pointy ears or that the the 2-age has been shortened by thousands of years, and the wokeness and need for modernism.

Its really funny when you know people's intention nothing close to race problem but only wants to fit to lore, if you want black new character, it cant be elf that is it. Tolkien legit said theyre the fairest in middle earth.

@primevideouk @PrimeVideo It looks nice, the vfx, costumes, sets etc all look like a lot of work went into them. Not much of a sense of the story or acting yet but it is only a teaser. Tolkien's work holds a special place for me so i'm keeping my hopes up.

@Mokotototo @wigzgaming @PrimeVideo Not its not impossible to use a compressed timeline, but it is extremely disrespectful given that the basis of Tolkien’s work was to craft histories. Three hairs tucked up by her lymph nodes does not a beard make. The women are often mistaken for the men. Dwarf men have BEARDS.
