@AngryDunedain @MrJCor @PrimeVideo Many of Jackson’s changes, even those I disagree with, come from a narrative need. Amazon is changing the work for two reasons: suit modern sensitivities, which it doesn’t need, and write the greatest novel Tolkien never wrote. Idiotic.
