Every so often I see it Trending on @PrimeVideo in the Top Ten for streaming movies. This is not a scientific statement, but I am correct that it is constantly surging and waning on streaming services about every two years. I have the DVD and have it saved to my personal media server. I rewatch it about every other year or so. Sometimes I watch it just to watch Joaquin Phoenix get killed. He’s such a terrible actor. It’s cathartic.

Tons of them abandoned ship during Universe and between that and DVD decline, it killed the franchise. MGMs concern is that old school fans (who might not stay) don't want a reboot and newcomers won't want 17 season of homework.
