This is a completely disingenuous take, and I've seen a lot of them. I didn't like what LeBron did/didn't say on the Chinese issue. But every sporting event there are always people who scream "let's go (insert team name here)" at the end of the anthem. But narrative.

@StevieJukeJoint I have no issue with "thy sons". I still sing it myself and always will. What I do have an issue with is not standing for the national anthem, regardless of the words.

@BenjieFord @RupertMyers No problem, when I went to St Lucia locals told us of the devastation the EU had caused them by putting tariffs on sugar cane and banning their bananas. They then played us the St Lycian National anthem, it went “God save our gracious Queen” etc. I felt guilty we let them down

@Michael_Rae @tashaaaaaaa I think some who would otherwise have been fine with Rapinoe’s iconic goal celebration were NOT fine with it because she earlier kneeled during the US national anthem to protest/in solidarity with protestors of police killings of unarmed black people, which is a race issue.

I’ve been trying desperately to make a transfer on my Diamond @myaccessbank App and it is service unavailabile anthem (as usual) The ussd is requesting for a debit card number when there is no debit card attached to the account. Customer service is offering apologies no solutions
