sam morton (@sgmorton) reported@ArloSmartHome I will never reco your products. Killing my camera systems I've invested in for years is poor practice. My cams that I paid for will keep working fine... But only if now years after I purchased them, I start to pay a subscription fee! You can get bent!

On April 24th 2026 I lost the features when they did an update. I’m on a fixed income & this was an investment in my home security. Arlo’s technical advisors are no help!

Ryan P. Cooney (@ryanpcooney) reported@blackironfitter @ArloSmartHome The hardware has been great. They stopped working when we were -30, but otherwise, I have never had an issue. I have four of them around the house and can monitor very closely, from wherever. No subscription. Hopefully @ArloSmartHome will rethink this.

I have 6 cameras and 2 of them died misteriously 2 months after the warranty had expired. Their response after hours of “troubleshooting” with them (making me waste hours on stuff that’s on the manua): “Tough luck”
