@maxrenke @redditdota2 @DOTA2 Out sourcing won't magically fix the bugs, but it will help you get a team who is willing to maintain a product. Engineers who want to work on cutting edge technology will not be willing to do that but would rather work on stuff like steam deck.

@Jaggijatt90 @redditdota2 @DOTA2 1) Valve hasn't used the "work on whatever you want" model for years 2) outsourcing bug fixing doesn't magically fix bugs; it might even lower quality I don't understand why people think Dota 2 is this horribly buggy game - it's pretty stable and things are hotfixed quickly

@Jaggijatt90 @redditdota2 @DOTA2 think of it this way: the incentive to "fully bake" the features in your mind is independent from whether or not there is an internal or outsourced team to fix bugs/maintain the code base. they aren't related.

@DOTA2 This ******* update sucks. I didn't put over 15k hours into this game to ******* have features in here that dumb down the game for NEW players. Leave it in the new player bullshit and give me the option to turn this **** off. Also, fix the mute options.
