His follow up - after 20+ minutes of wasted time - was to tell me to call @etrade. We've institutionalized failure.

Goyim (@AnonGoyim69) reportedE*Trade @etrade might be the worst broker/investing app there is. Horrible app from 1997 that never changed, can’t buy anything overnight like other brokers, getting tired of it. Any suggestions on where else to take my money?

IPODave (@IPODave) reported@AccessIPOs @etrade @MorganStanley Yes have to give them credit - they fix their IPO process and are doing a much better job w allocations. I've been complaining since 2016 about how they restrict setting up trades pre open but after a rocky last few years they solved that problem too.

This is a terrible user experience and is making me consider closing the account. There is no way to turn off that setting either? I’m certain Morgan Stanley holds everyone’s dividend payment overnight so they make money lending it to other institutions with USD LIBOR just like banks do maybe file a complaint with the SEC?🤷

Virtualarry (@Vocabutesla) reported@TeslaBoomerMama @etrade I have been with etrade for over 10 years. They have always been great. Absolutely no fees for banking with minimum balance which my Roth satisfied. With that comes the ups and downs of “virtual banking” I have not had a traditional brick and mortar bank since year 2000. Back then people thought i was crazy “your information will get hacked etc”. The etrade acquisition by Morgan Stanley complicated some things. Extremely slow to update systems to modern day standards. Took years to fix some online issues and services offered. Simple things like access to Zell. I registered for ipo access over a year ago. Nothing to do with Soace X. Everything to do with being prepared for future opportunities. I would be cautious with situations where someone is registering too close to the time they want to participate in an ipo. Not saying this person is not qualified but sometimes the things need time to iron out. Phone calls with etrade representatives etc.
