@DanielMCharter @etrade @TDAmeritrade I already have both… think or swim is the best if you’re on your phone to place the trade… reps are much more knowledgeable and actually work with you. E*trade first line is like talking to customer service at an airline - usually never have been an active trader

In a thread about good/bad customer service, I said @MorganStanley/@etrade were incapable of handling basic banking functions or returning a call. 1 month later, I still don't have an ATM card and they're still blaming me. Looking for recommendation for a good trading platform.

@etrade trying to help my SO open a solo 401k. Submitted paperwork last week. Have gotten no response and the phone waits have been rediculous. Just got disconnected after a 40 minute wait. Please help, the deadline is 12/31 and I will have to open elsewhere if needed.

@DanielMCharter @etrade @TDAmeritrade I love etrade. Never restricts anything or glitches out like the rest of the brokers. Everytime I hear about broker issues or some bullshit brokers are pulling during squeezes, I'm never affected on Etrade.

@etrade @TradingWADummy @etrade cust support = gd nightmare. *every* time i’ve tried to contact them, over 1 hour wait w awful muzak til they answer- tell you something is handled then no call/email confirm for months- then schedule a 1-2hr hold to start from scratch again. BAD!

@etrade has great customer service, but when you go to tell them how good their service was, their automated system proceeds to mess up. Hearing "I'm sorry" in a computer generated voice is my personal hell.

@sanegrain Either an I Bond (buying those is a PAIN!) or help them research a good mutual fund. Let the kid pick so they get excited! @etrade has no fees on mutual funds and now is a good time to buy the dip! also @SmartyPig is high interest savings where I park cash for my kids savings.

@etrade I called for pizza delivery and on the other line I called at 1-800-387-2331 for support. Pizza arrived before E Trade answered, so just hanging up to eat my pizza lunch, no @MorganStanley for retail.

@etrade Please help me finish the account transfers you started in September. It’s now December 27th and this isn’t resolved. Have called several times and sent notarized letters. Promised call backs never happened and your online “send a secure message” gives an error. Help!

@etrade If you’re a $MMTLP shareholder and feel you were sold counterfeit shares, my State AG’s Office recommends you file a complaint in person and immediately seek legal counsel. Collect all evidence and be ready to submit it upon request. Three states have open criminal investigations
