I don't know if @NorontResources can help here, but @etrade has doubly messed up reporting on my shares I'd tended for the BHP agreement that was terminated, that I did not receive proceeds for because the deal was terminated and all tendered shares were returned to me.

When I talked with @etrade customer support, they say their records have the "sale" of the @NorontResources shares as part of tender agreement completing on 12/28/21, even though that is the date when the shares from the terminated deal with BHP were returned to my account.

Well, I opened up an @etrade account today and am in the process of transferring my account from @TDAmeritrade as despite a 20+ year relationship, I cannot support a company under a tyrannical government which is unfortunately our neighbor to the north.

@SECGov Is there any help you can provide with this? It's well documented everywhere that the @NorontResources and BHP deal fell through, the tendering of shares event was terminated, and shares were returned to shareholders on 12/28/21. No proceeds as @etrade claims on my 1099.

First issue is @etrade issued me a 1099 claiming proceeds on the tendered shares and that they were "sold" on my tendered date in Aug 2021, although all shares were returned to my account on 12/28/21. I received NO proceeds for @NorontResources shares because shares were returned

Actually, I see it's the SEC I should be making a complaint about @etrade and their handling of this to (claiming proceeds I never received, then changing cost basis of returned shares to $0).

Happened to me w/ $TLRY during that epic short squeeze and my broker pulled the rug by covering those shares for me at loss when I knew that thing was going to collapse in another few days and it did.
