@LeeVogler @reddittrading @etrade I have e-trade but it won't let me buy until my bank account is verified. And for some reason, it won't let me verify it until 2-3 days when it sends some stupid deposit because it couldn't connect to my bank to do it instantly.

@PGARicky @etrade Except that the Robinhood CEO admitted there wasn't a liquidity issue; and instead had "requirements to it's clearinghouses and net capital requirements with the SEC". I can see them restricting margin trading, but retail share purchases? And allowing "selling only"?

@atrupar @etrade My account got locked down. Couldn't get a call through at all. Not even to sit on hold. I waited in a chat screen from 11:18 a.m. to 4:26 p.m. before they finally chatted with me. They told me to call back on Monday during reg business hours.

Anyone who has blown up an @etrade account on a big move with too much leverage would have had the same experience. The real issue is that it has exposed how some big market players are involved on all sides of a trade and to many folks this was opaque before.

Trying to leave Robinhood, but both @Fidelity and @etrade are absolutely awful. Fidelity will only allow me to link a bank account by mail, because it's not 2021 in Fidelity's world. E*trade limits what you can do recurring investments in because... why help people invest?
