@etrade Why is it, that Etrade requires funding an account, and then a customer has to activate the account to trade? Some say the process can take more than a week? Who gets the interest on the account holding the funds?

@etrade I filed a couple of support tickets and the response was “sorry we’re busy, you can use this self-help stuff instead” with no indication of other options. So it sounds like you don’t offer actual customer support anymore?
