@etrade My login says I need to call you due to unusual activity, yet I'm on hold for HOURS then get disconnected. I try chat, and get a red error saying "something went wrong" when I try to connect. This is AWFUL customer service. Maybe @Fidelity will be a better option now.

@PGARicky @etrade Except that the Robinhood CEO admitted there wasn't a liquidity issue; and instead had "requirements to it's clearinghouses and net capital requirements with the SEC". I can see them restricting margin trading, but retail share purchases? And allowing "selling only"?

@atrupar @etrade My account got locked down. Couldn't get a call through at all. Not even to sit on hold. I waited in a chat screen from 11:18 a.m. to 4:26 p.m. before they finally chatted with me. They told me to call back on Monday during reg business hours.

@etrade @pennystawkcawk Sad to see that Etrade hasn't replied to one complaint on here or even acknowledged there was a problem. We can't get through on the phone or on the live chat as that is broken. Time to switch brokerage as they don't seem to care.

In 2018 I opened a @RobinhoodApp due to its user friendly platform. However, due to their lack of transparency and constant issues, especially after the whole #GME debacle, I decided to shift my entire stock portfolio to @etrade. Everyone deserves a chance to #invest.

@etrade @pennystawkcawk “Your call could not be completed due to technical difficulties. Please try calling again later. Goodbye.” Now $20 is stuck in my account without me being able to withdraw it because “new accounts within 60 days are not allowed to withdraw”. Non-existent customer service.
