Facebook is terrible for any number of reasons. One of those reasons is the laugh reaction in Facebook Messenger. It's terrible. It looks like the face of somebody suffering through the most intense of brain freezes.

New rule. When acquaintances tracks me down via Facebook messenger just to send me pictures/links of the junk they are selling, I’m giving no response or acknowledgment. The slightest answer seems to encourage these people who are basically saying gimme your money.

Tried calling several times, on hold for hours, no response to emails. Messages on fb messenger, no reply. Main restaurant in our hotel closed, few comments on FB mentioning how bad the food choices are.Price has dropped too. Disgraceful service #jet2

@craig_labenz I switched 5 years ago, while I continued using iMessage on my macbook for a bit I eventually came to know everyone has WhatsApp or FB Messenger or some other IM. I was hesitant at first but it came to be no problem whatsoever.

1. So…my father -mid 70s, recent widower, lives alone - spends his days having angry conversations on FB Messenger. Problem is…no one is actually replying to him. It always escalates. These delusions are very ugly. I set up a visit w/ his doctor who was extremely dismissive
