    I love Gears of War. Its been in my life for 20 years. EDay is heading in the right direction for the series for sure. OG gears fans need to understand that bringing in new players is going to require compromise so the game we love will stay alive. Feedback from the beta: Weapons - Lancer Proto: Remove the damage buff and increase accuracy a little. Reduce stopping power slightly. There's really no way to move around it unless you smoke Lancer Mk1: Make the accuracy worse Gnasher: Reduce gib range just a hair and smoothen damage drop off. Make the pellet pattern 100% consistent (if it isnt) Snub: Reduce damage slightly Incinerator: Fix odd issues trying to shoot from slide or cover tansition. Reduce Magazine size to 2 Gut Puncher: No spare ammo, its too strong Hammerburst: This weapon felt good Vulcan: I think its in a good spot Grenades in general: Adjust throw distance, its just a little too short. Tagging enemies should come back. I think thats a fair compromise to remove mines Longshot: This weapon is in a good spot Movement: Remove UpA speed boost. Movement should be consistent across the board Wallbouncing is in a good spot. Its fast if you do it right. Hyper bouncing is unrealistic (this is good) Sliding: Fix weird collision inconsistencies. If you slide into team mates or bodies you can literally disappear, died to this several times. Sprinting: I personally do not like how slow it is to turn the camera when sprinting, but I understand why it is this way. My only real problem with sprinting is the shooting delay from sprint. 15 years of muscle memory is gone since Im so used to shooting immediately out of a roadie run. Im not sure how to fix this or why its even in place, but worth discussing. This may help the gnasher against rifles too. Mantle kick should come back, not sure about cover yank but mantle kick was fine. The Beta has been great so far. I've been waiting for years for another gears game and this one is poised to deliver a great experience. One thing TC, please do not cave to the gnasher only community and make the sole focus of the game gnasher wallbouncing. Everyone touts Gears 3 as being the best (myself included) and in 3 you could spawn in with a RETRO LANCER/SAWED OFF. All of the weapons worked and filled their roles perfectly. That should be the true end goal. The tunings in 3 rarely changed if at all. Please stick to this mentality. Nobody likes learning a new tuning every month, it's terrible. Make ONE tuning and stick to it across all game modes (no "competitive" tunings, they divided the already small player base). I cant wait to play the actual game in October. Its going to be a long wait. #gearsofwar #Eday @CoalitionGears

    @GearsofWar Most inconsistent gnasher I've ever used and that says a lot because they always are. Its pathetic. Remove center screen shooting too. Fix the ******* game. Its horrible. You have 2 months.

    @CoalitionGears Disable Ray Tracing immediately Fire Matt Searcy - game is terrible you need to push the release back another year and fix the game it plays like ***! You are all terrible and need to quit. Hire real game developers- so bad!

    Gears of War E-day beta is a total trainwreck.I never played a more clunky game in my life! The developers totally mutilated everything that was fun about Gears of war and I dont even recognize the game I loved. This game has so many issues that it seems unfixable! Gears 5 is 100 times better then E-Day and that is really sad when they supposedly spent 400 million dollars in development. This game is probably the worse game that I ever played before and with GTA coming out along with Modernwarfare 4 I dont see how this game will survive! I dont see how they can fix this game by October 6 and like I said Gears was my all time favorite game and I cant believe how bad this game is. I mean you can't even sprint and fire the Gnasher but sliding into players is ok there is so much input delay and the gun tuning is horrible and it has so much delay and clunk it does not feel like a triple A game and once the honeymoon faze is over the numbers in this game will diminish. I waited for E Day for years and I am sad and shocked bad it is. Thats what happens when you lose key members of development teams. E-Day feels like it went backwards not forward. If Gears 5 had a bigger community and they upgraded their servers I would delete this game off of my console and continue to play 5. If the Coalition was smart they would delay this games October 6 release date and fix all the issues! I just hope they can turn things around but that seems highly unlikely. RIP Gears of War @GearsofWar

    @Silverwve @Community_Gears @GearsofWar Ah, I wasn’t having frame capping issues, but for whatever reason switching to full screen gave me an fps boost. I don’t play versus so I’m talking exclusively in horde.

    either gears of war beta or recent nvidia driver is crashing my pc after closing the beta. has happened twice now. reverted back to old drivers and things have been good. please fix by release date i really like the game @GearsofWar @Community_Gears @NVIDIAGeForce

    @GearsofWar my issue with beta is that my game keeps crashing in Horde Siege, usually towards the end of matches... Also can't shoot through some windows, as they have bullet proof glass?
