@HBOMaxHelp Dear intern, I once hid an entire set of API docs in **** under a feature flag I didn't know existed. The client cost was high. Keep breathing, you'll be all right. P.S. Write the docs that would have helped you. They'll definitely help the person who follows you. <3

  • giladrom Gilad Rom (@giladrom) reported from Los Angeles, California

@HBOMaxHelp Dear Intern, We tested our high availability failover mechanism one last time in production. Accidentally rebooted the wrong server and failover didn’t work. People in 3 states couldn’t use their DVRs. You’ll be fine :)

  • samziz Sam R-A (@samziz) reported

@chofter @ShawnSquire @HBOMaxHelp I guess we’ll agree to disagree. I think we each said all we can say to convince one another. That’s a terrible story about FB though, awful for that kid (there are reasons I’d draw a distinction between these cases, if that seems contradictory- just don’t want to drag this out).

  • GrooveHotspot Hotspot Groove (@GrooveHotspot) reported

@AngryNPDX @HBOMaxHelp How do you treat them, as people you are seeking help from or 'as the help'? Sometimes we get bad interactions that are no fault of ours but anytime we as customers 'take it out on or look down on those who are serving us', we deserve a bit of a bad experience.

@tobins @hbomax A: "Does it work in ****?" Dev: "Let me run some _tests_." #TestInProd

  • TheGolleLama Dad Noises (@TheGolleLama) reported

@HBOMaxHelp Dear Intern, I am a mechanic and was installing a factory option on a customer's brand new vehicle. Shortly after proudly posting a picture of the work I had done, I realized I installed it on the wrong vehicle after my boss kindly pointed out it was the other similar black car

@chris_notcapn @hbomax No. Best content, worst-functioning app. Makes me sad.

  • ImproperOpinion Improp Op (@ImproperOpinion) reported

@HBOMaxHelp Hi! I have a quick question for clarification. Does your intern use “them” as a pronoun, or do you have terrible grammar?

  • samziz Sam R-A (@samziz) reported

@chofter @ShawnSquire @HBOMaxHelp This is all true, but I think it’s fair enough to say “the intern was the one who pressed the button”. I don’t think people interpret that as “the intern is personally to blame for all problems in our corporate and engineering culture, and we intend to fire them out of a cannon”.

  • amypoehlerr sophie⚢ (@amypoehlerr) reported

@thboywonder @hbomax the site did this for me for each episode as well. or it would just pause every other second once the up next countdown ended even though there was plenty of episode time left. one of the worst streaming interfaces. @hbomax get your **** together

  • MogranTweets Morgan (@MogranTweets) reported

@HBOMaxHelp Dear intern, while testing the invoicing system at a company I sent a real invoice to the Law & Order SVU production team from Elliot Stabler. But the invoicing system did work!

  • CaltoFlor Freedom is When Everyone Votes (@CaltoFlor) reported

@HBOMaxHelp Dear Intern: One day you will work for a company that invests in a teamwork mindset. When there is an error, they won’t point fingers and publicly place blame. They’ll apologize and stand as a team.

  • mikelking Mikel 🌊🇺🇸⚖️🗽 (@mikelking) reported

@altonbrown @FoodNetwork That is unfortunate. Your work is the only reason I would ever consider adding d+. Have to wonder if the WarnerBros & Discovery merge/acquisition proceed if they will end become part of @hbomax ...

  • Mary_Reading Mary Reading (@Mary_Reading) reported

@HBOMaxHelp Dear Intern, I once thought I put a difficult customer on hold while I updated my manager on her issue. I did not put her on hold. I 100% used the phrase, “bitching at me about…” She 100% heard me. 1/2

  • syd_viscous syd (@syd_viscous) reported

@HBOMaxHelp Dear intern, I once sent an email containing all the information from my company credit card to everyone in the office. Surprisingly, no one used it before I caught the error and requested a new card.
