@hbomax Is there a way to just use my Hulu account to sign in vs having 2 different apps? I had Hulu long before hbo and didn't know I could get hbo through Hulu. I don't want to lose my stuff.

@hbomax I regularly have problem casting. At work I get reverse casting (black on the screen while playing on the pad) and it doesn't find the TV at my grandparents. Would also like to be able to control by notification bar when I cast from my phone.

@hbomax fix your app for samsung tv. It keeps stopping while watching a movie, then won't even go back to the main menu.I had to turn off my tv coz it hangs. I don't have this problem with other streaming apps.

@HBOMaxHelp Hi, I’m using my SmartTV and it’s always freezing. Or I’m getting an “error” message. I rebooted the TV twice but the problem is the same even after rebooting.

@HBOMaxHelp I'll try restarting the device and reinstall the app next time I'm there. It shouldn't be necessary to try another device. Is notification bar controller already a feature, and I should restart and reinstall for it to work? Or is it a potential future feature?

@HBOMaxHelp Thanks for the response but it’s been a huge deal that took 3 weeks to resolve the last time. The help desk techs just gave up and gave me a temp account which I guess ran out after 90 days. I might try again later with HBO but it’s very frustrating and I’ll probably just cancel

@HBOMaxHelp Both my Roku Premiere+, model 4630x firmware, as well as HBO Max app’s firmware are current. The problem is *not* with my home theater components. We have had these components for years. Since the last HBO Max app’s update, which occurred yesterday, is when this problem began.

Yo, @hbomax, why do I get this error EVERY time I try to connect? Service Code: S-ef1ee218-063f-4ad7-904a-6805debf5959-9a25f6a8-f462-4fdf-be7f-6739037c1245 I can get past it by reloading, but why? Every. Damn. Time? (Yes, I've cleared my cache. Doesn't help.)

@HBOMaxHelp Thanks for the tips. Unfortunately, I tried all of those and the quality is still very poor. It’s running through a wired internet connection which is working great and I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app - still experiencing the same problem. Is the app optimized for Xbox S/X?

Hi @hbomax How does your searching work on @GoogleTv ? I searched UFO I get one result & it's a weird cartoon. I searched Aliens, I found almost no alien movies; Boardwalk Empire was one of the results... Your algorithm is terrible! Is it keyword, title, subject, description etc?

@HBOMaxHelp been having issues playing hbo max on my LG webOS tv after I recently restarted my subscription. I changed my password, logged out and back in, deleted the app and reinstalled, nothing works. Whatever I’m watching will play for a few minutes with 0 issues.
