@JamesGunn @hbomax Integration tests are part of software development. They are generally longer automated tests that run nightly and test how multiple components work together. They generally send emails announcing success or failure. Someone put in the wrong email alias into the test runner.

@HBOMaxHelp Dear intern, When I was 15 I got the EPROM programming wrong for the security system of a customer. Luckily it was bad enough that it didn’t work at all. But there was a very embarrassing call afterwards. Also, I managed to recursively erase most of the disk of one of the devs.

@HBOMaxHelp Dear Intern, @Pixar once almost lost the entirety of TS2 after running a cmd in error & del the entire file sys, only to discover backup files been failing for a mo. Only rsn it was saved was bc the tech dir was having copies sent to her home after recently giving birth. U good.

@HBOMaxHelp Dear Intern, In my first month of a new job, I once scheduled an email to our entire customer database (millions) to throttle & send 30k/day. 2 hours later I find it's sending 30k/HOUR. AND, the main link was broken. I got it shut off, but had a lot of cleanup to do! It happens!

@HBOMaxHelp Dear intern, I once had a manager who sent an email asking HR for the final paperwork for the termination of an employee. She didn’t realized she had replied all. He deleted all the documents off his work computer causing the company thousands before being terminated.
