@HBOMaxHelp I was able to fix it by closing out the app and restarting. It still happens but only if I rewind more than twice within an episode. On a Sony 4K smart TV.

@hbomax why does your app lag so much? Every movie, about 1/3 of the way through starts to be unwatchable. Can't you have it buffer more or something?

@adamhlavac @hbomax I couldn’t wait I had to see it first day like I always do with films I was going to see it by myself which I always do but this year I got a GF and now got a movie partner I couldn’t do that to her and waited for her finish work and made it date night

@madebygoogle @HBOMaxHelp Yeah. They got me on DM. Been working on random streaming issues with them since early June with no resolution. App and tv is up to date. I tagged everyone involved this time because I'm getting a bit frustrated. With the tv shows I can stream them on Hulu just fine.

@HeadshotTweets @HBOMaxHelp @YouTubeTV I don’t *think* I typoed the email address in HBO Max, as I don’t think I even had to type the email address due to the Google/YTTV Provider login. I also don’t know why things worked for the first month and then stopped working.

@hbomax This is the worst app I've ever had to use. It kicks you out and makes you sign back in over and over. Then when you do try to sign back in, it sends you back to CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT. Seriously??? Until they work out the bugs, don't pay for this! It's a waste of your money!

@HeadshotTweets @HBOMaxHelp @YouTubeTV You said you think the problem is with HBO Max since it impacts multiple providers. My best guess is that something changed or broke on the HBO Max side and that creating an email/password sign-in attached to the YouTube TV login has resolved it. But, that’s a guess.

@hbomax ...create a new account. This has gone on and on. It usually takes 4 or 5 attempts to be able to sign in before it usually starts to work again. This time, it's just not allowing me to sign in. I tried 7 times this time and still no dice.

If you were in High School or College in 1999, you should go watch Music Box’s Woodstock ‘99 episode on @hbomax. My biggest memories of that event were Kurt Loder and fire. The mid to late 90s were a crazy time. Kid Rock & Limp Bizkit were terrible then & still terrible now.

Is there a higher payment tier where the @hbomax app works? I wouldn’t pay it but I’m just curious to know if there’s a version of this app that does actually work.
