@HBOMaxHelp Closed captions only show when timeline is displayed on the screen. This is using the HBOMax app on an AirTV Mini (Android TV device running Android 9). App ver. is 50.50.0.86. I read this also happens on Tivo 4K device. CC use to work all the time. Any info?

@ProtonSupport Hey @ProtonVPN, thanks for the reply. I'm a plus user and I'm in Brazil. I use the service on every device I have. About streaming, I have no problem accessing the main services, except for @hbomax which blocks access using my country's server list.

@mikecherry @aglerj @hbomax Damn that sucks! Yeah going DTS solves it for most cases but some apps/movies still have issues as you've experienced. I can't reme.... Talked through it with Mrs. It was Disney plus and I think one of the newer SW films that made me go nuts about it.

@hbomax why is you app such trash? I have 1k MB/sec internet and I never have issues with Netflix, vudu, hulu, or games. Your app is constantly buffering and quitting. Absolute garbage for a major company to have such a poor streaming service. 0/10 - Do not recommend #HBOMax

@hbomax I bought this subscription only for @dunemovie. This was the worst adaptation of a book I have ever seen. The cinematography was spectacular, but HOW DO YOU LEAVE OUT KEY CHARACTERS? How do you leave out the backstory of humanity and machines ?!? #Dune
