@hbomax thanks for changing that up i was a tad mad about you censoring my viewing. This old lady does not like others telling me what i can or can not watch. I cancel subscriptions over those types of things. I appreciate your prompt fixing of the issue. See some of us are kind.

@KevinCrossman @heyleslieb @hbomax What’s working for me at the moment is swiping down on my appletv and selecting “auto” for captions. Might only be a temp fix and useless if you’re using another device. Weird thing is it only started happening a week or so ago. I turned them on for one show and bam.

@HBOMaxHelp I have followed every step in your troubleshooting on all of my devices and none of them are working. Looks like many other people are having the issue so it doesn’t look like it’s an us problem it looks like it’s a you problem.

Streaming video apps need to have video quality settings on their smart TV apps. The @hbomax app is extremely slow on #GoogleTV, even after completing basic troubleshooting like power cycling & cache resets. This is bc it pushes 4k content on my slow network & videos timeout.

@hbomax Hands down, the worst streaming app in major media. If one downloads shows and movies, why would the app require an internet connection?! What’s the point of downloading then? This among many other issues. Get it together HBO.

@hbomax free advice (browser): - make cursor go away after a couple of seconds - make left/right arrows rewind/ff - make up/down arrows control volume - "let's start where you left off last" is very broken - even on a single device. Syncing iOS -> browser is broken

@didodi_tweet @hbomax I’m having the same issues on all platforms I have the app. They need to fix this @hbomax . Nothing will play. Hit the play button and nothing works. Apple TV, Roku, Apple App on phone. Nothing plays.

HBO Max censoring the R-Rated Birds of Prey with a TV-14 Version is pretty weird. Their terrible original shows contain far worst content and scenes than anything #BirdsOfPrey has. @hbomax just gave me another reason why I rarely bother with Western movies and TV shows. #HBOMax
