We’re moving to @HostGator — they actually pick up the phone. A website host should support your business, not sink it.

@HGSupport I asked your support agent to create a ticket for 4 times. Then she created it. Provide an easy option to create support ticket instead of a chat option

The worst web and email hosting provider is Hostgator. They suspend user accounts without warning. Their censorship policy is arbitrary allowing no clear definition of policy. Your opinion is not allowed on your own web site! #scam #HostGatorSux

@seanrogers8 @HostGator @spamhaus Spamhaus looks at email traffic from an IP address, often across many users on a shared server, not a single account. Our teams monitor and work with them to clear any listings. Please reach out to support so we can review your specific server and email setup.

@HostGator #SSL errors for multiple sites. Please get to the bottom of it. All we did was deactivate some outdated plugins.

@FeoAmante @HostGator Hey, Feo. We'd like to look further into this and get your site back online. Please send us a DM with any open (or closed) ticket IDs related to this issue, and we'd be happy to assist you from there.

Rocketship SEO Plugin: We have identified a memory handling issue with our plugin that appears to largely impact Yoast users on Bluehost (though not HostGator which is the same company) and could impact other shared hosting environments. in 100% of cases we've investigated the issue goes away in a few hours as memory used subsides. You might get an error immediately after activating the plugin that says there has been a critical error on the site. Your site and Admin area are fine though you may not be able to edit plugins / posts / pages, this is the memory issue manifesting itself. You might also get a report emailed by WordPress saying the issue was caused by @Yoast using too much memory, but it is our plugin causing the problem not Yoast. Our best guess at the moment is that this error is caused by our compatibility settings with Yoast which is performed automatically upon install and activation. We are looking at making this process more efficient and improving our compatibility so sites in shared environments like Bluehost do not encounter this issue.

@FakeUncleNemo @zrkann I got out of @HostGator about 10 yrs ago. They sabotaged one of my servers and asked $250 for "emergency upgrade". Funny enough, the support engineer who I was on the phone with, fixed it without it but had to switch it off again so they could keep the scam going 🤡
