@Hostgator @HGSupport We are entering Week 2 without access to revenue producing websites and still no updates from "escalated support team". This is obviously beyond HG scope as no other hosts are still struggling with this issue. Unacceptable.

Decided to go independent with HostGator hosting, but there was one problem... I needed to relearn coding. With all these new AI coding apps, I didn't know where to start.

@HostGator been a customer for 13 years. no longer. @Porkbun here we come.

@HostGator @HGSupport Today makes six days without access to my server and three revenue generating sites. No new sales, no access to email will lead to customer (revenue) loss. Zero updates and appears no progress being made. The class-action law firms are circling. Complete incompetence on display.

@HostGator - their support staff has repeatedly displayed minimal to zero knowledge and are not much more than phone answering clerks. Numerous times we've been given false and varying info. as for the reason for issues #badwebhosting

Can any tech people help? We use Outlook for The Bookends Review and once a week, it'll stop sending and receiving mail because "503 Valid RCPT command must precede DATA." Then, I'll delete the emails we have in the HostGator CP and it'll work again. Any ideas how to fix?

Hi @HostGator I am still in the chat and now for 23 minutes and not a single admin has come to see about my issue.

@HGSupport @HostGator This was a back end, server-related Wordpress issue. Not every Wordpress problem has to do with theme or plugin, singularly. Also, there's an outstanding malware problem HostGator was supposed to solve and call me about, and did phone call.

What’s wrong with HostGator? I need to contact my doctor but HostGator just gives me the runaround. Anyone have similar problems?

@ronimartinezz @HostGator From the screenshot, it looks like you are having trouble logging in to your account to cancel. If that's the case, send us a DM so we can get you verified and assist.

@FeoAmante @HostGator Hey, Feo. We'd like to look further into this and get your site back online. Please send us a DM with any open (or closed) ticket IDs related to this issue, and we'd be happy to assist you from there.

@HostGator @WordPress Now it's created a whole new set of problems. At first, it kept directing me to some weird temporary domain. Then I logged in and updated the settings and now it's a 403 error page. Hours of my time is going down the drain for no reason.

  • koluwaponle
    Kudehinbu Oluwaponle (@koluwaponle) reported

@HostGator @HGSupport Your support lied to sell me your Nvme vps, (I have chat evidence) which could not support my legacy apps after I made payments totaling $883. I've been trying to receive refunds since Feb 10 without success. Your support has been horrible and of little use

Rocketship SEO Plugin: We have identified a memory handling issue with our plugin that appears to largely impact Yoast users on Bluehost (though not HostGator which is the same company). in 100% of cases we've investigated the issue goes away in a few hours as memory used subsides. You might get an error immediately after activating the plugin that says there has been a critical error on the site. Your site and Admin area are fine, this is the memory issue manifesting itself. You might also get a report emailed by WordPress saying the issue was caused by @Yoast using too much memory, but it is our plugin causing the problem not Yoast. Our best guess at the moment is that this error is caused by our compatibility settings with Yoast which is performed automatically upon install and activation. We are looking at making this process more efficient and improving our compatibility so sites in shared environments like Bluehost do not encounter this issue.

When looking to replace the dreadful @GoDaddy @GoDaddyHelp with a better company with better customer service, try out Bluehost SiteGround DreamHost HostGator HostPapa InMotion Hosting. You dont have to accept terrible customer service.
