    @HGSupport Hello Hostgator support,   My site is currently suspended due to subscription expiration.   I do not wish to renew the plan, but I’d like to request a short grace period to log in and export my site content.   Could you please temporarily unlock my site or downgrade it to the free plan so I can back up my data?   the live chat isnt working anymore Thank you for your assistance.

    @BigRock one of the worst companies every -friends be careful - they dont ifnrom u anything - they migrated me from hostgator then blackmailed me into taking expensive VPS server and then now emailed me to change name servers - did it - BOOM full crash !!!!!

    @HGSupport do none of your support reps have access to WHM on shared accounts? I've been on the phone with a tech support for an hour. She's completely out of her league. The fix would have taken her 30 seconds on WHM to open phpmyadmin and change the definers of a function

    @HGSupport @cjcornell They did the same with me injected a malware and i have never recovered, later they charged me $25 to recover emails, i lost 3 clients that i was working with

    @HGSupport Has HostGator changed its password requirements? I've had problems logging in suddenly but error messages do not state any change to the policy despite an AI search suggesting something may have been done by March 2025.

    @HGSupport How to you access the live chat support. It has been disabled for months now. All live chat support does is show you a list of "is this your problem" crap.

    HostGator support eventually confirmed it: “All outbound connections are blocked.” Yes. The server could not make outbound HTTPS requests (port 443). If you’re a dev, you already know: That breaks EVERYTHING.
