OkYall (@okyall55) reported@HostGator deleted MANY of my posts on my personal blogs. Not me. Hostgator!!! Now, they won't restore them unless I pay them to do it. I've been a customer for 20 years or more. Never thought I would see the day that they would be so blatantly crooked. If you use Hostgator, you have to pay for them to back up your blog or pay a third party. Or you have to copy everything on your site. BlueHost is cheaper, backs up every day, charges nothing extra to do it and restores for no charge. What happened to @HostGator?????

She's completely out of her league. The fix would have taken her 30 seconds on WHM to open phpmyadmin and change the definers of a function

Stan Vee (@Stan_VeeS) reported@FakeUncleNemo @zrkann I got out of @HostGator about 10 yrs ago. They sabotaged one of my servers and asked $250 for "emergency upgrade". Funny enough, the support engineer who I was on the phone with, fixed it without it but had to switch it off again so they could keep the scam going 🤡

Their security is extremely weak, management is poor, and they consistently focus on charging extra fees instead of providing reliable service.
