  And on the matter of a “custom config” since HostGator’s responsibility is to the database, you WORK with the maker of the “custom config” because they need the help from what is supposed to be their business partner: HostGator. Don’t know who’s telling you to write what you wrote but it’s a really bad look.

  @DerNord036 I miss HostGator. They were a great, local Texas company with excellent service, then they sold to some conglomerate and now it's trash manned by jeets.

  @HGsupport @HostGator now Google is taking down ads and organic ratings because the sties can't be reached. Thoughts? Compensation to regain rankings? Would love to hear any suggestions you may have as this disaster drags on.

  @HostGator @WamanyaPious There's another issue that's worse than that. Hostgator just totally changed their webmail interface in their hosting service & is telling me that I have to live with the new interface. Here's why that's a problem. I've used the same interface for >20 years. I've got daily work habits that depend on it. But what did Hostgator do? They decided that ALL of their clients that use Hostgator are getting a new interface that's a disaster. If you liked the fact that all your stuff was laid out in a way that made working in it a breeze - YOU CAN'T HAVE THAT ANYMORE. Why is that a problem? Hostgator NEVER CONSULTED THEIR USERS - NEVER gave them a chance to TRY the new interface & choose. NO. WITHOUT ANY WARNING WHATSOEVER - The changed it & when I call for support they claim there's nothing they can do. Since I have to change interfaces - which is a massive problem - I might as well switch providers because forcing changes on your customer base without warning & without any opportunity to even express an opinion - is the dumbes think I've seen in hosting services. Therefore if I have to change interfaces I might as well get a new hosting service - despite being >20 years with Hostgator - looks like they hired too many DEI supporters. Still can't believe they did this. Please, if you read this far, someone suggest a better hosting service if you can recommend on that interacts with it's customers before changing their lives forever.

  @NamecheapCEO Keep prices low! I switched to Namecheap from Hostgator because you are 3x cheaper at least. Also your support is great, don't replace it with AI

  @HGSupport @HostGator week 2 of server being down and zero access to my sites or emails. Escalated support has stopped responding, no updates on open tickets and zero responses from support here. Has @HostGator given up?

  @HostGator - their support staff has repeatedly displayed minimal to zero knowledge and are not much more than phone answering clerks. Numerous times we've been given false and varying info. as for the reason for issues #badwebhosting

  @HGSupport @NewfoldDigital I have emails from HostGator going back to 2010. I can show you many times HostGator Admins have done yeoman work in coding. I learned a lot from them. That should be your model, not this frankly lazy approach that HG has adopted. Make some coin and help your customers.

  @HGSupport @HostGator Absolutely horrible customer support. Gator AI told me a configuration was done and was not true. Tried email and it was rejected. Chats claimed my user ID was incorrect and unable to get it via email. Nothing ever came. Is this still a real company?
