@HostGator free website, happy. I paid more then 4K to @hostgator in 10 years. They shut down my 10 year old website without any notice, any reason. I fought a month and finally I have transferred my website to A2 hosting hassle free. If you have any idea about @HostGator

@HGSupport What you all should consider is hiring staff that’s in the USA. 99% of your staff isn’t qualified to be on technical support. Worst experience I’ve ever had in my life. We are canceling

  • Briony Whitehouse (@AGirlAStyle) reported

@Bangonstyle Hostgator! They have great tech support when you need it and are not too $$

  • MyNyts (@MyNytsEvents) reported

@HGSupport I’m now being told to contact my Internet Service Provider. Your company are a complete disgrace!!

  • Dorothy Kirk (@dorothykirk) reported

@HGSupport My website is dead in the water, infected by malware. Ronnie, a great support person, suggested I upgrade from 'Find' to 'Fix.' BUT your portal has a bug and I can't upgrade. Ronnie couldn't upgrade me either. It's up to your development team now. Fix it.

    Hostgator sucks

  • The HorrorFatale (@HorrorFatale) reported

@HGSupport my site if offline - again. I have contacted support and have received no response. You guys have really become terrible in the last couple of years. I’ve been resisting change, but clearly it’s past time. #DoBetter

  • chris (@Chr1sOrlando) reported

@backloggery I work in web hosting, feel free to DM me if you need help finding a new host and/or migrating the site. Hostgator sucks. They are owned by EIG, a company who buys hosting companies and tries to run them as cheaply as they can.

  • Alex Sasha Regan (@AlexSashaRegan) reported

@_nataliestroud I spent the first few years using things like godaddy, hostgator, and site5 with cPanel... It's the absolute worst! These days I'm happier poking around a shell in a digital ocean server. I've learned some linux-fu that way!

  • Brendan Tully (@tullibo) reported

@Dieulot @AndyDavies @justinavery It’s a shitting hosting problem - Bluehost/hostgator etc crap out when with even a handful of GET requests in short sequence. Even with page caching those shared hosts easily start throwing 500 errors with just a few simultaneous visitors

  • ken linc (@kenlinc) reported

@HostGator are just over rated. Slow to Handle clients matter. Good customer but Poor service with Admins

  • Southern Momma (@christal_ellard) reported

@HostGator your freaking tech support just wiped out my ENTIRE WEEBLY BUILT PAGE, because WEEBLY wasn't showing up , I SPENT WEEKS BUILDING THAT PAGE NOW I'M ******

  • Southern Momma (@christal_ellard) reported

@weeblysupport I'M GOING TO ******* KILL HOSTGATOR SUPPORT They just knocked all of my weebly built website down and put a half assed thing from their web builder up, can you help I'm going to cry

  • Southern Momma (@christal_ellard) reported

@HostGator Holy shit talking with your tech staff is one of the most painful experiences some days. For some reason they cannot comprehend that the HostGator website builder and weebly are two different builders, and insist I REBUILD EVERTHING through Hostgator websitebuilder

  • ejayo (@ejayo) reported

@HGSupport A random person on twitter showed me it was the gutenberg plug in, by reading the error message. Wordpress kinda rammed Gutenberg down my throat. I disabled it and the site is up. I'm doing my own backup now. Thanks. When it's downloaded i'll try to update again
