@ScottSandry @Cloudways @HostGator If you were here you would not be angry, in addition to having support every day by phone and chat.

  • NetEntertainer NETSENTERTAINMENT.COM (@NetEntertainer) reported

@ConstantContact @Endurance_Group Starting a business is good but hosting with @HostGator is very bad for your business

  • ScottSandry Sandry (@ScottSandry) reported

Hi @Cloudways I am on @HostGator but keep getting "reduce server response time" issues. They cant resolve it (we even disabled every plugin/used default theme) my site is optimized. They just keep suggesting same thing. Can we test the site on your hosting before fully switching?

  • HathwayCreative Chris @ HathwayCreative (@HathwayCreative) reported

@HGSupport Thank you. Yes, I predate them I think. Support have tried to send me a link to reset it a couple of times but the emails never come. I'll look at the settings when I get a minute. Thanks again for the response.

  • AffiliatesWatch The Affiliate Watch (@AffiliatesWatch) reported

@selfbankt Yikes, you read a bunch of paid reviews by affiliates. Get a refund and run, HostGator is part of EIG, the worst hosting conglomerate on the face of the planet. Brace for a slow site, non-existent support and malware at some point where they'll charge you an arm and leg to remove

  • qiaodengf Name cannot be blank (@qiaodengf) reported

@HostGator Had such a great experience with this hosting until we needed support. We got our service shut off early, they they promised to fix it and botched that entirely. Still waiting for their help.

  • Kevin_Holloman Kevin Holloman (@Kevin_Holloman) reported

@HGSupport It's kinda messed up that literally every other shared hosting will allow me to alter my php to prevent timeouts, but you guys will not. That's a bad look.

  • intake_create InTakeCreate (@intake_create) reported

@steffs_journey I would assume most answers you get in here will be affiliate links. Which isn't bad but doesn't give a great representation of top tier web hosts. For absolute safety, I would honestly say the big names like: Namecheap HostGator Or even goDaddy

  • AManAWarrior 𝒜𝑔𝒽𝒶 𝓡𝓸s𝓱𝓪𝓪𝓷 k𝒽𝒶𝓃 (@AManAWarrior) reported

@mirela_iepurela @HostGator just checked. they set it up btw always take a whole site backup every week in case the server went down you would have your data.

  • G2N_HOST G2N HOST (@G2N_HOST) reported

@HarishKaushik99 @HostGator If you were here you would not be angry, in addition to having support every day by phone and chat.

  • Beruud Jay Zippo (@Beruud) reported

So @HostGator is down. Luckily I saved my content I wrote before it **** the bed. Took CSR 12 minutes to tell me, they are rebooting the server. Since I am in the industry, that should take 2-3 minutes. It's been over an hour. GRRRR. Oh well, guess I can watch #bills play.

  • sgmgillespie Sam Gillespie (@sgmgillespie) reported

@HGSupport I have tried around 12 times now to get help through your chat but it keeps failing (messages stop sending and chat support stops replying). How can I get support through email?

  • chris5101520 Spider Chris (@chris5101520) reported

@BrandonStraka Get on hostgator and register your own domain, they provide emails with the service

  • HathwayCreative Chris @ HathwayCreative (@HathwayCreative) reported

@HGSupport Hi, Everytime I login to Live Chat I am asked for a PIN, I've never had a pin and it takes ages to verify me before we can continue. Just over 10 minutes to acheive verification which is a waste of my and your supports time. Is there a solution to this?
