Be careful using @hostgator I purchased a year's subscription last night and called support to see if I could have my older package migrated and was charged $13.80 for the old one by the phone rep. Sorry chat dude but it wasn't authorized.

@dustinhyle @nichepursuits I just got rid of a hosting client that had 20GB of images...The number of resources they were using on my VPN just wasn't making sense for the $$. I moved them along - they're with Hostgator now. Not my problem. LOL

For 2 weeks, I've been struggling to verify my domain in Google Workspace hosted by Hostgator. Their poor support leaves my SSL non-functional. Their responses to my queries vary & now they want to charge me for their mistake. @hostgator's service is unacceptable. #dissatisfied

@hostgatorindia @HostGator raising a ticket for the same issue won't work. We are following you on the same issue for the last 2 months. We want the credits for those days when the website was not running, as we have lost lots of visitors to the website which has impacted the business.

Beware of @HostGator. Good website service so far but I’ve been inundated with spam emails and texts since signing up with them last week. Now I have to decide if I want to stay with a company who so quickly sells my info. Im not an expert but I’m not happy with that 😡

@HGSupport @HostGator @GoDaddy I was on chat. I never got a ticket number. In both cases, after their whacky requests "Could you please try another Internet provider?" (Who pays for multiple providers? Where?) Then they'd "be right back" and let the chat room time out in 10 minutes.

@theforeignsick Go to HostMantis! They’ll won’t you on a shared server that they won’t update the PHP software for like HostGator has done. I physically cannot develop on their server anymore. Their service is atrocious

@HostGator has been charging my card two times for services I cancelled one year ago, I tried to get in touch with them and it's impossible, their virtual chat is a joke, horrible service.

@HGSupport Since October. Yes, since Hostgator suffered a worldwide drop in its services in October, our hosting is having problems: intermittent, 7 hours to send an email. The service sucks. Refund the money or move the services. Ticket 46227447
