@HGSupport Your chat window never loads. Your techs by phone are not escalating calls that are massive server issues above their paygrade (multiple sites down, no database connections).

Tired of @HostGator windows plan. Dealing with new silly issue almost once a week. Contacted support just for it to be escalated to the 'relevant team'. Today my business has lost 1 working day as they havent fixed it till now smh

@HGSupport Let me try an incognito window. ...Nope. Chat window still hangs. I'm currently on the phone right now with techs going 30+ minutes. They won't escalate. It's your issue. All sites with db won't connect.

@HostGator : 48 h with my server blocked and no answer from the sysadmins. Thank you #hostgator. New chat system to prevent direct access to sysadmins... too bad, before hostgator was very good. Now stay away!

Of course, you need to be careful with howyou present your HostGator offer, as freelancing platforms won't look always look too kindly at your UPSELLS. I've got several hundred referrals over 3 years and never had issues. You just need to be SMART about it.

I left Hostgator for good. I had a great experience with them overall, but as soon as I wanted to leave, their support was terrible. They kept wasting my time by trying to convince me to stay even though I told them no explicitly and that I was busy.
