@theforeignsick Go to HostMantis! They’ll won’t you on a shared server that they won’t update the PHP software for like HostGator has done. I physically cannot develop on their server anymore. Their service is atrocious

Be careful using @hostgator I purchased a year's subscription last night and called support to see if I could have my older package migrated and was charged $13.80 for the old one by the phone rep. Sorry chat dude but it wasn't authorized.

@HGSupport Since October. Yes, since Hostgator suffered a worldwide drop in its services in October, our hosting is having problems: intermittent, 7 hours to send an email. The service sucks. Refund the money or move the services. Ticket 46227447

For 2 weeks, I've been struggling to verify my domain in Google Workspace hosted by Hostgator. Their poor support leaves my SSL non-functional. Their responses to my queries vary & now they want to charge me for their mistake. @hostgator's service is unacceptable. #dissatisfied

@HGSupport I've just been chatting with @HostGator customer support. The first agent disconnected with me and the second one said there was nothing they could do, but I should buy a different domain and connect that instead. I want MY domain, which is what I was trying to renew.

The winner of worst customer service I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with is @HostGator. They missed every follow up deadline they set for themselves. They promised me calls that never came. They never shared notes so I had to explain everything over and over.

There’s ways around that but again I self host on my work fiber connection gig symmetrical. Got lucky they let me do it. I share my service with them and they save money. I’ve been there 20…

@HGSupport @HostGator @GoDaddy I was on chat. I never got a ticket number. In both cases, after their whacky requests "Could you please try another Internet provider?" (Who pays for multiple providers? Where?) Then they'd "be right back" and let the chat room time out in 10 minutes.

@dustinhyle @nichepursuits I just got rid of a hosting client that had 20GB of images...The number of resources they were using on my VPN just wasn't making sense for the $$. I moved them along - they're with Hostgator now. Not my problem. LOL
