If all you do is one thing (in this case hosting servers) you should at least try and be good at it. I chose @HostGator precisely to not have to deal with problems like this, incredibly disappointed.

💥WEBSITE ISSUE💥 Our apologies to all our visitors. Escalated Tech support at @HostGator emailed to say they worked on an issue that turned out to completely destroy the look, feel and navigation of our website. Hopefully they will priotise and correct the mess asap. @HGSupport

I’m facing an issue where the #unity desktop app doesn’t support #Firebase. So I’ll have to write REST APIs in WordPress. I haven’t done it yet, so I am trying it out and have to check with #hostgator. So depending on the solution I come up with, this might be a little delayed.

@YoungbloodJoe I understand that HostGator is not the best choice for hosting, but it's not horrible, we have clients with sites hosted in HostGator that load in 1-2 secs on 3g network. Want to truly destroy your site try GoDaddy hosting.

Does anyone have experience with getting a website taken down for violating the host company's T&C. Specifically HostGator. It might be a long shot but I can't stand in the heat and protest so you do what you can.

@MattRPD @streamlabs @TwitchUKI I went through Namecheap, HostGator, Cloudflare, and Wordpress but you'd have to build it on your own or invest in someone to build it for you. It can be a bit expensive to get started, but the upkeep isn't bad if you go long-term (every 10 years).

@HGSupport @HostGator I signed up for your service and continuously received bad service which made me take up the 45 days cancellation with refund. It has been 5 weeks since I cancelled and the refund has still not been effected. How far can this #HostgatorBadService go?

@CatCrawf Avoid Hostgator at all costs, never had anything but issues with them for myself & clients. Bluebottle were fairly decent when I used them a couple of years ago.

@RyanNegri I think you would have to work with someone like GoDaddy or Hostgator. I think that they can contact that person and negotiate for you. I pay $4.99 per year for a url auction service from GoDaddy, but I’m not sure what it includes

@ionos_com @HostGator I ended up going with @HostGator. Although they were never able to tell me why I wasn't receiving their PIN reset emails, their phone support was excellent and I believe I've migrated everything successfully.

@HostGator A year has been so tough, Hostgator support is going down everyday. One website in my dedicated had issues, you restricted access to entire server asking me to rectify, i replied back 10 hours back, but nothing from your side and server is down, i chat with support but no help

So, this will be second time I am about to leave GoDaddy, First time they tried to get much more money from me, I was at Hostgator first, though it was better but then few issues, now I have 2 websites at GoDaddy and lose my money, but have no options They reply you in hours
