@HGSupport Called Friday and the operator elevated it (supposedly bc they couldn’t fix it), 2 days later no one called back, no email follow-up. Zero! That’s not really good customer service. Called this morning, nothing had been done. Still waiting!

@HostGator Update: a very helpful high tier support agent named Jed figured out the problem and was able to bring the database back. Thank you Jed I hope they give you a raise because you deserve it!!!

@HGSupport I have two sites down since 48 hours ago. In a shared windows hosting. I have contacted chat support three times. They escalated to admins but solution didn't came. Sites down should be priority for you. I will loose my business because of your laziness.

@RichardCheese To add to this as well I've been a part of a good bit of websites and Siteground is the only one that provided actual support. Hostgator and Godaddy are complete trash.

@NewfoldDigital Superb customer service?? Ha! @HGSupport changed my IP with NO permission, bad server settings and my site has been down for 5 days! No help. No accountability. Powerless reps have done nothing to fix what Hostgator has done.

@JohnSherry The agent probably meant to say to consider transferring your domain out of Registry Rocket since HostGator hasn't used that as our registrar in many years so the majority of our agents and even some management can't access it anymore. Our admins may be able to help with that!

@HGSupport I don't understand why are you trying to deny that your chat system works like that. Chat gets disconnected after 3 minutes due to inactivity. That's insane. Your own agents sometimes tell me "Please wait 4-5 minutes until I work on this issue". What should I do? Talk to myself?

@HGSupport I'm not saying anything about agents, I can always get them and they are great. But your CHAT SYSTEM is a disaster. I am working and i can't always look at the chat and sometimes agents need more than 3 minutes and it gets disconnected! ITS NOT HELPFUL! PLEASE FIX THAT!
