  @HGSupport I've been attempting to resolve an issue that stems from the Hostgator site for days. I've spent hours on the phone with various Hostgator support and no one has resolved the issue. It's unbelievably frustrating.

  @HostGator for the past 4 months my website was offline for about 7 days, the Brazilian branch of Hostgator sadly it’s terrible, I'm just a few hours from completing 48 hours offline. Seems nobody cares, never had a server provider like this. It takes days to get the website on

  @HGSupport @HostGator This was a back end, server-related Wordpress issue. Not every Wordpress problem has to do with theme or plugin, singularly. Also, there's an outstanding malware problem HostGator was supposed to solve and call me about, and did phone call.

  @HGSupport @ethanjaack I did that. Repeatedly. Kept the transcripts. Your phone and chat techs openly admit that they can do very little and sent it up the chain, twice. Escalated Support means email only and "Try this. Works on our end!" and they close the ticket. It's Sunday.

  @HGSupport trying to get second level escalation for critical email issues for 3 days. Two chats and 2 phone calls, and 5-6 hours invested but no line of sight to resolution or 2nd level support. Very disappointing

  @HostGator @WordPress Now it's created a whole new set of problems. At first, it kept directing me to some weird temporary domain. Then I logged in and updated the settings and now it's a 403 error page. Hours of my time is going down the drain for no reason.

  And on the matter of a “custom config” since HostGator’s responsibility is to the database, you WORK with the maker of the “custom config” because they need the help from what is supposed to be their business partner: HostGator.   Hey @HostGator — your “Live Chat” and “Support” links loop back to your own help page. I’ve got a valid SSL installed, DNS and Cloudflare set up correctly, but my site’s stuck in an HTTPS redirect loop (ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS). Your backend needs to resync the SSL vhost or restart Apache. Any chance someone competent can help me out today?

  @HGSupport @NewfoldDigital I do not mean to offend, but what happened was and is you have some folks who may be well-meaning, but do not understand what they're doing. Too often someone at HG makes changes to my back-end server that I did not authorize. This has been problem for the last 3 years. STOP IT. Make sure to allow the owner-admin, er, me, to approve any changes before they're made. Do not just DO them.

  @iGoinsane101 i got openzero running on 2 servers but need the space so will remove 1 openzero server the 16gb ram one then install a web server for my x community/group, help people host simple sites if they want big sites social networks they can go to @HostGator
