For the record: I have already left Facebook and Instagram for the same reason I'm considering to leave this one too (power concentration in the hands of just one owner). For me it wouldn't be a problem to get rid of the so-called social media altogether.

Musk takeover does seem like a good reason/motivator to quit if you’re wanting to leave anyway. And part of me does want to leave. Part of me doesn’t. One problem is the competitors are not better. Facebook is worse. Instagram is Facebook-owned.
