@Lebrondeshawn @mastermine62 @monsterhunter for sure, that would be good. basically what live service games do.

  • BagelBackpack Scribblord (@BagelBackpack) reported

@zinnythezino @monsterhunter Bc people have shown for like 8 years straight that they’re too dumb to uninstall mods pre update on their own and then go blame capcom for issues that come clearly from mods Rare capcom w in terms of tech stuff

  • Albal156Gaming Albal156 (@Albal156Gaming) reported

@TheHorribleMind @monsterhunter Tbh I think its aimed at beginner mods users more than anything who think their game is broken but they';ve got mods installed.

  • zinnythezino Zinny (@zinnythezino) reported

@DuaneM07 @monsterhunter This is like the general rule for mod user If anyone complain game not working or crashing when having mod then it's the user fault for not knowing this

  • Fiona_Stann Fiona Stan (Fatherless) (@Fiona_Stann) reported

    @120NAP @monsterhunter I had no issues

  • Revolthell RK (@Revolthell) reported

@Fluffyquack @monsterhunter Yea that's because of cultural norms you can see the massive difference during Palworld's international debacle regarding East (Respecting Author Intention First) vs West (Enhancing Game Experience for Player first). I think that event greatly exposed a huge difference in thinking, but luckily Capcom is very international perspective, so they seem so much more mod friendly now as supposed to "tolerating it". There's also the concern of Piracy or copyright infringement if they official acknowledge somethings like Master Chief models being in Resident Evil (if its Capcom's own IP probably no legal issue). In my professional/personal circle there are some good ideas regarding how to approach that issues, and whatever happens I sincerely hope one day like you got invited to the Lara Croft remaster project Capcom really acknowledges ReFramework. I hate pointer scanning in DMC4SE goddamn ASLR.

@CrowGriffon @monsterhunter this happens to console players too. not everybody wants to pay to backup a save. even if you do pay, auto backup is enabled by default so it can still ruin your save. steam cloud can do the same. you should not have to make a manual save when most games do not have this issue.

  • InsiderRng Vnyue (@InsiderRng) reported

@monsterhunter How did it get worse not even hitting 100 fps anymore anyone else having this problem?

  • LeoDactylVT Leo Dactyl 🧬🦎 (@LeoDactylVT) reported

@french_crusader @monsterhunter What's there to be unsure about? Every big update of every game ever has always broken mods. This is just to be expected.

  • TheNiblesnarf Niblesnarf (@TheNiblesnarf) reported

@frasir_ @Speikobrarote @monsterhunter Yeah, I'm questioning the logic of asking you to jump to the latest driver that's known to have problems when you can stay on a stable one of 25.9.1. If they can get the new one out to fix the issue, awesome, until then. Just not really a logical choice.

  • frasir_ FrasirTV (@frasir_) reported

@TheNiblesnarf @Speikobrarote @monsterhunter Im already on 25.9.1 that i find better for my performance but its seems they have a real "steam" issue they cant solve

  • Pokepunk710 Pokepunk (@Pokepunk710) reported

@zinnythezino @DuaneM07 @monsterhunter TU3 broke REFramework and there were people blaming the devs for the game not launching. it's entirely the players fault but the devs get blame. they should definitely point it out that mods should be uninstalled if there is issues.

  • 120NAP 120NAP ▫️ (@120NAP) reported

@mastermine62 @Lebrondeshawn @monsterhunter never had this issue in over 20 years myself. i’ve played mh for a good few of them. it’s just mh. my gf lost her save on ps5 after updating. and you expect new players or the older crowd out there who want to hunt big monsters to know about this issue? or know how to avoid it?
