@monsterhunter People say game is too easy. Devs increase difficulty. Monsters are too hard, rewards aren't satisfactory. Devs just shrug like "you asked for this." Small wonder you get cheaters. Simultaneously culling the weaker player base on some "get gud" ****, and not fixing the problem.

@monsterhunter Tell us Capcom, will you ban people who mod to fix performance issues as well? I get banning those who are blatantly cheating, but if you start to ban people who just want to play a smooth, working game, there's bigger issues at hand.

@Matschnemon @monsterhunter No its not...using stuff you are not yet supposed to by way of cheating them into the game is against terms of service...if i pay for a car and steal all the gasoline to drive it its still a crime... Dont cheat in online games and you are fine period..or play offline

@Grummz @monsterhunter But aren't people getting access to new armor early from the files? That armors not a cosmetic yknow? They have states so it might be good armor but u aren't able to get it now legitimately so whats the issue

The ability to play game as it's provided by the devs. It's ridiculous to think if you buy game you own all it's files,assets etc. It's protected by copyright. Do you think of you buy the book you can reprint it?

@monsterhunter I would like to know Capcoms stance on performance improving mods such as changing the horrible LUT filters, improving direct storage, as well as mods that fix buggy and unresponsive controls. Banning anyone for using things that fix genuine problems would be concerning.

@background965 @monsterhunter That's the problem, most "cheaters" are not modding quests to be easier, they are making them HARDER and/or with more than 2 monsters, actual cheaters that 1 shot monsters or post quests with max rewards are extremely rare.

@ChadAkarui21 @monsterhunter I've been playing since 3 Ultimate. Im a PC gamer first. Modding is part of the ecosystem here. If a dev has an issue with it and ban players for it, we have every right to be upset about it. It doesn't matter if they have been playing for a long time or not.
