    Still baffles me how some people become translators, like as a JOB, and are just so goddamn terrible at it. Netflix and Amazon Prime are the prime example of it, watching an anime on Netflix with subs is painful, when you understand Japanese. I don't get it.

    I constantly think about the "how" of projects being made and how past work and access affect those things. For example: imagine a complete unknown made "Inside" before he did. Completely independently and walked into Netflix with the movie complete. Would they have bought it?

    @Cakes_Comics It's so good! I wasn't sold on it at all before watching, but @justamoocat seems to have a sixth sense when it comes to quality Netflix series

    @buggus96 @captainwifey I am NOT a historian but this is something that kind of fascinates me. Netflix has a docuseries about them called The Last Czars that's fairly accurate (but not entirely). Basically Nikolas II did NOT listen to people around him telling him to work with the people.

    Real question: why can I easily stream Netflix, Prime, Hulu, Peacock, Discovery or literally any other streaming service perfectly with no lag, even in 4K, yet I'm constantly having trouble with YouTube even in 360p?

    @LisaMMcGee My mother has a few health issues and needed to be put on a repeat low dose antibiotic so she went to the chemist and said that the doctor told her she needs to get Netflix! Pharmacist almost pee’d herself and said “I don’t think it will help kidney infections as much as Keflex?”

    @cdossenb @ONwxchaser The reactions to the vaccines do seem wide ranging depending the individual. First shot with AZ gave me slight fever, night chills & tired - nothing spending a day on the sofa watching Netflix wouldn’t fix. My 2nd shot with Pfizer - nothing.
