    @MischiefsYT Overwatch has a smurf issue which is what Blizzard is tackling. Having to play 100 games to unlock all heroes is much better than whatever League or Apex has as well as adding a phone number is going to prevent someone making multiple accounts. I don't see the issue

    You get all your overwatch 1 **** so only free to play new players need to "reunlock" characters which nobody bats an eye when games like valorant, apex and r6 siege do Don't blame overwatch 2 or blizzard blame games as a service for making these things common place

    @imAVRL Don't understand the issue. You had to wait until level 25 in Overwatch 1 this just seems to be an improvement. The VC recording just makes it nicer for the players.

    @Cinnastag @YokaiRiderVT smurfs, cheating and toxicity have been a problem in overwatch since it came out. The only one complaining about it is people who wont even play, plus a lot of gaming companies record the VC channel to see if the person needs to be banned or not

    I don’t think Overwatch 2 requiring a phone number to play the game is an issue Recording voice chat is a different story however

    Smurfing must have genuinely been a massive issue in Overwatch. It’s one thing for players to “feel” like there’s a problem but for Blizzard to force phone verification and only allow 1 number per account is wild. #Overwatch2

    @MercuryCDX I like how World of Warcraft went from being this really neat new MMORPG game from beloved video game developer Blizzard, to a miserable shitshow of bad decisions from reviled video game developer Blizzard. Overwatch is just what happened with WoW with a few years lag.

    As for recording match chat like...why is that a problem for people? Anyone can be recording a game at any time. When you play overwatch there's a chance someone is recording you. If that didn't bother you before, why does it bug you now?

    @Dahviee @IGN That’s fair. I haven’t touched League in a number of years, but I feel Overwatch currently has a big issue of players not swapping heroes to counter the enemy team. In League, you can’t do that mid-game. Since that’s a mechanic in OW, limiting access to them is sorta Pay-to-win
