It's not what you're doing that's the issue, you're killing monsters either way, I think people complaining about the story should actually be complaining about the very slow start where you're lacking skills/speed.

Tracey Barru-BloodRayne (@Raeyyne) reported@pathofexile seriously guys, load screens for 2-3-4-5 minutes, deadlocked every 2-3 instance changes 5 minutes to log back in and it’s all over…., Fix the friggin game how can a new. Game be so bugged out? I have no problem running other games, just poe2, I love the new content but it’s almost unplayable! Not to mention most streamers run an audio program to isolate channels such as voice chat, game sounds and music but whatever you’ve done you can’t even load the game if you’re running one, you have to switch it off! How many streamers have you lost to this lag fest, bugged out, turn your audio program off bull ****?
