I guess since GGG has ruined path of exile and I have little to no hope of them fixing the issues they created MAYBE I can become a fighting game player again

Mattackai Gaming
(@MattackaiGaming) reported
@gamerCliveD @pathofexile To be honest, I think the problem is not the direction they are going, but how fast they went there. If you want players to adapt to much lower drops, you have to do it very slowly over many patches.

(@GStombaugh) reported
@pathofexile Ahh I see GGG is implementing the "make bad changes no one asked for so they can fix it later and expect praise" strategy! Blizzard would be proud

@Glacius__ @NeverSinkDev @pathofexile You're quite literally oversimplifying it in a way that Neversink is trying to avoid. YOU are the ******* problem.

@pathofexile The expedition doggo with the archnemesis mod "Soul eater" is absolutely broken, killed me five time in less than one second in a white map. I had 4000+ hp and 10k armour. I think this kind of mod and "on death effect" degen ground are really unhealthy for this game..

@pathofexile This didn't solve the issue at all. You AGAIN reduced the amount of loot we get and instead just gave us better quality loot? How does that even help? How does that make sense???? That's not what anyone asked for at all.

Marrond
(@Marrond) reported
@NeverSinkDev @pathofexile The main problem why Archnemesis is such a point of rage is because... we've already had this conversation. Many times in fact. And GGG keeps repeating same things EVERY TIME. Furthermore, nobody liked original implementation of AN and they integrated it everywhere anyway...

Orb Elemental
(@ZetoNegi) reported
@NeverSinkDev @pathofexile 3) Someone at GGG hears what the testers say and doesn't provide an adequate response. That's a huge problem and whoever's serving as the intermediary between the testers and the devs needs to be changed. 8/x

@NeverSinkDev @pathofexile Explaining the vision was what manifesto were for. They used to be not numbers based but concept based and that was great. Now they basically are pre-patch notes with a very binary "problem - solution" format and a lot of micro involved in them sadly.

Ace Subido
(@acesubido) reported
@NeverSinkDev @pathofexile Absolutely nailed this thread. Especially with the communication bit. It's hard to get GGG to know the issues the player base sees if there's no itemized list of things that the community can communicate in a civil manner. Instead, what GGG gets as feedback are hyperboles

Rubén Barbosa Toro
(@rbarbosatoro) reported
@PunishedGecko @Big_Ducks @pathofexile The problem is not the concept, which for me sounds really cool, but the implementation. Effigy, the elemental mods, assassin, trickster and a few more are simply shxt. Lunaris, innocence, kitava touch are quite interesting (now more with the rewards). What is lacking is balance

@pathofexile It solves part of the issue. But this league still feel you guys only took stuff from us and there is nothing new to test for all gameplay style. Unless the plan is to have everyone rolling conduit? Attack and melee builds need help, they are underperforming.

Gen Denelith
(@GenDenelith) reported
Well, looks like Chris Wilson made a post about 'fixing' the drop rate issue in Path of Exile. "Massively" and "significantly" mentioned in the post... but no numbers. And generally only to rarity, not quantity. It's obvious they don't want to fix the problem.

@ataraxy21 @pathofexile By your same logic then if they nerfed the lower tier content even harder then it would fix it ya?

Drew Lacy
(@Elegant_Death) reported
@baerinho @NeverSinkDev @pathofexile The issue is people have been complaining about archnem since they introduced it and they have quadrupled down on forcing it as a mechanic and decided to balance the game around it. Then when it felt like complete trash to play with these changes, they didn't address it two times
