    lmaaoo @pathofexile ok so your goal is to turn your games into diablo 4?! GGWP i guess! barely 24 hours in and these new builds are soooo stupidly broken ... RIP POE1... cant really say that about poe2 though cuz it never was a balanced game!

    is it not a problem that this is a false promise that will suck? meanwhile he's also promising Mars colonies and superhuman brain implants? you don't think maybe it's a little sus that he's lying about Path of Exile 2 and the Odyssey? no? the AGI is real?

    @pathofexile The biggest issue is you can't buff it with support gems, so I'm not sure how you would scale the damage properly.

    Sometimes I fantasize about both Path of Exile games handling leagues a little more like WoW handles seasons. Let us keep the character, but strip away the old power. Reset the passive tree, remove the gear and currency and make us rebuild through the new league. The grind would still exist. We just would not have to drag the same character through the entire campaign again before reaching the part that is actually new. Obviously, PoE 1 and PoE 2 would need different versions of this because they are separate games with different campaigns, reward structures, skill acquisition and permanent progression. Each game could have its own alternate seasonal progression track that grants the necessary unlocks through levels, bosses, league milestones, or another form of content. Keep the economy reset. Keep the rebuilding. Keep the challenge. Just move the necessary progression into something that is not the same story repeated forever. Over the years, I have become ill enough that by the time I finish the campaign, I am often already burned out. This is not an efficiency problem. I do not need another guide explaining how to finish it faster. I know how to do it. The repetition itself consumes the limited energy I wanted to spend discovering the new league. Part of why I value gaming is that it can actually be beneficial for neuroplasticity when it asks the brain to learn, adapt, experiment and solve unfamiliar problems. Replaying a campaign I already know does very little of that for me. It feels less like playing and more like paying an increasingly expensive admission fee before I am allowed into the new game. I do not want to skip progression. I just want the progression to begin somewhere fresh.
