    one of my personal favorite examples is path of exile where you can just scroll the bug report forum for ****** up combos that can crash games and run them until the devs patch it and you just dont get in trouble cause its not really your fault it exists

    @pathofexile I knew it was a DDoS attack. The servers had been fine the previous leagues. But when a league is hyped up by the community it gets DDoS attacked

    @abyss_chris @pathofexile what... it happens to plenty of games... FFXIV and WoW have both had DDOS attacks for past few years. Apex had a pro tournement suspended due to ddos attacks happening same with League. Fortnite has even had it in recent years.

    @LATin4k @pathofexile No, I just don’t like that they promised a certain schedule, and when that promise was broken they didn’t even address it. One reason people love grinding gear games so much is they have always been honest with their player base. This isn’t that.

    @pathofexile Thank you for looking into it. I also genuinely don't understand how do we get crashes because of cosmetics every league. I bet it can be auto tested easily. Just make a character with every possible cosmetic and see if they crash themselves or others.

    @AliOnur28736 @pathofexile You see it in other games too and I can't remember it ever being quite this bad in PoE. Seems like there are a lot of DDOS attacks this league for some reason and hopefully they fix it soon

    @pathofexile WHY EVEN RELEASE NEW POE1 LEAGUES IF YOU ARE GONNA DOWNGRADE THE SERVERS TO THE POINT WHERE THIS **** IS UNPLAYABLE 3 WEEKS INTO IT. **** YOUR POE2 DOGSHIT FIX THE SERVERS OF THE ACTUAL GOOD GAME YOU ******* ******* PIECE OF **** *****.
