@stevenspohn @Zizaran @pathofexile The problem is the wording of this. It makes it seem like he’s not making an action to make the flasks work which isn’t a macro. It’s boting, if he was making an action to press his flasks all at once that would be a macro.

@pathofexile @bexsayswords no idea where to report this since forums are kind of a mess and reddit is flooded, but client is crashing to windows right after servers went up. quite a few people having this issue. only started today, client worked yesterday.

Sigh...not having the best week. Dealing with some technical issues today and I don't think I can fix it before 2pm. So I'm afraid I'll have to cancel today's stream. I'm gonna get everything sorted out and prep for tomorrow's 12 hr stream with Path of Exile. I'm sorry guys! 😣

@stevenspohn @bgolus @pathofexile I'm having trouble imagining a macro providing competitive advantage that doesn't indicate the UI or game design is the actual problem. Unless we're talking reactive macros that can respond to game conditions? Otherwise it's repetitive stress for nonstrategic actions.

@stevenspohn @pathofexile Also, PoE is a video game, not a public building. They still have to enforce their ToS. You can’t bot. Just like if someone had trouble using their right arm, they can’t just use an aim bot in a FPS and claim disability. You’re still getting banned.

@pathofexile crashing to desktop when i try to load the client every time, few people on reddit having the same issue. wasn't happening 20 minutes ago, not sure if something broke on my end or if it's a new issue from the patch

@stevenspohn @pathofexile The main problem I see here is that the type of automation he was using gives him a clear advantage even over able bodied players. Everybody would love to use automated macros for their flasks. A solution should be found (and the ban undone, obviously) but this cant be allowed.
