  • Jenpocalypse17 Jenpocalypse17 🌊 (@Jenpocalypse17) reported

@OnealAnnia I got rid of my Facebook ages ago because of the evil. And Instagram is owned by the same people, so the same problem exists. I'll just hang out on Reddit.

  • TJNovak TJ Novak (@TJNovak) reported

@Ellie_Idol Reddit won't complete my sign in.

  • 6_shae shae (@6_shae) reported

yall cannot be shutting down twitter, where else am i supposed to get my porn bruh i got perma banned from reddit

  • BeezaGArts BeezaG (@BeezaGArts) reported

Ok so since Twitter itself is not shutting down only tje offices are, should make some stuff clear first Currently Instagram will be a new hotspot for posting art and updates, I did make a Reddit account but Idk if I will be using that, same with a Tumblr account.

  • Masked_Man018 Masked_Man (@Masked_Man018) reported

If twitter is to be shut down/abandoned (Although kinda unlikely) I want all of your other socials Tumblrs, reddit usernames, newgrounds accounts, etc Ik i have some but still

  • idi0teque_ saff (@idi0teque_) reported

ngl if twitter does go down i will be so upset lmao i’m not incel enough for reddit and instagram is ******* boring

  • Dorialexander Alexander Doria / @Dorialexander@mastodon.social (@Dorialexander) reported

@hardmaru @Reddit Not the same scale nor the same moderation issues. There have been roughly 2 billion comments per year on Reddit vs. 200 billions tweets. It makes sense that Twitter is x10 that.

  • ScottTheAmazing ScottTheAmazing.eth (@ScottTheAmazing) reported

@Ike_Saul These might be more likely if 99% of employees left. But that just isn't happening. Twitter still has plenty of employees. Why are we assuming Elon has no capital or connections to rapidly solve any problems? These problems could also effect Discord, Reddit, or dozens of apps.

  • Ike_Saul Isaac Saul (@Ike_Saul) reported

@ScottTheAmazing yeah, and they do! Reddit, Discord, etc have outages and major bugs. so does Twitter. but they're usually quickly resolved by a team of 7,000+ people. I think my biggest worry is that by halving (or, you know, getting down to 1,000 employees) the risk of not resolving goes up

  • BoochiDoochi BochiDochi 🐀 (@BoochiDoochi) reported

@jasondamartian_ @tize4PF Reddit is down the hall and to the left

  • KevyChristian Excalibur Discount Legal Services🇺🇦🌻 (@KevyChristian) reported

@HairFlipsNChips I don’t think it’s going down. As much as I dislike Musk and think his leadership is awful, I think Twitter has too much momentum and too big of a community to just die. It provides a different sort of social media experience than something like Reddit or Tumblr

  • blueberryskeppy ara is a skeppy hater!♡ 🎗 lali 2007 layout (@blueberryskeppy) reported

was thinking of techno, missing him n i said sum like “king i need more content 😔 we miss u so much” n i went down the tl n saw see the gf thing on reddit. it felt so comforting like wtf so i said “one more king one more” and the photo of technodad on his set up appeared

  • jdunc30 James Duncan (@jdunc30) reported

If twitter implodes here’s what i think is next.. If Reddit can fix their UX then this may be the next “town square” but a lot needs to be done in order for that to be a viable option. Discord has some promise, there would need to be a “homepage” but could work.. #RIPTwitter

  • WildPantaloneZ Luis C (@WildPantaloneZ) reported

@TheKickAround I don’t think this would go down but if it does during the WC, do y’all have a Reddit page or discord so we can live chat during the tournament? Loving the preview pods by the way!

  • gewoonm Matthijs 🇺🇦 (@gewoonm) reported

@MrAlanCooper Sheesh, no. Musk made a terrible business decision. Do not bail him out. There are plenty of other social media, and even (gasp) traditional media. Try Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Mastodon, Discord, Reddit.
