@VossMollyWater @JagexSupport @JagexAsh Kev, You can bypass this problem by using the new Steam client as it's in C++. I know it's not Runelite. But its a start, while they focus on the real problem.

@nicknongambler Lootboxes are for sure a problem. This is a more pure and real form of gambling, just using online currencies. I can purchase @RuneScape gold from websites, and use that to gamble with on websites that specifically use that currency. Its a real issue on this and other games.

@JagexSupport Im not trying to change my login information, the account was created in 2005 so I cannot login with an email. Im trying to change the email attached to the account so i can add extra layers of security ( authentication ).

@JagexHelpFrost @JagexSupport This is not correct. I can prove I’ve played on this account this year with screenshots. I’ve always used ‘Pureruney’ as the login name as I’ve had the account since 2006. and I was never banned in 2014. I was only banned this year. I can prove that with screenshots as well.

@JagexHelpFrost @JagexSupport In 2014 I changed my character name from Pureruney to a couple names and then ‘loony.’ That’s why it no longer shows up. But Pureruney is still the name I login with..

@JagexSupport I will do that then, thanks. That aside, there is absolutely nothing I can do to stop a malicious too many login attempts attack. The solutions don't work at all when its like this, and i can just hope.

@JagexSupport So that cleared up, I got the reset password email. However, I still am not getting the verification email. I’ve upgraded to be a member on OSRS, but still don’t have a verified account. The email verification process seems broken.
