@mkoontz328 I mean his ratings severely tanked. Down 40% YoY. You can enjoy 12 mins of ads, that you used to be able to skip, or have Spotify Premium to avoid them. Sure it’s not a true “paid” model but as close as it gets.

Sometimes it feels like Spotify has abandoned its desktop apps. Consistent problems where 1/2 of songs just stop playing after 2-3 seconds and only solution is skip songs until one works.

@DaleyAFC @arseblog He's super-plumbed in to the world of megabucks investors, so as I thought, it's likely about a consortium of some kind rather than plonking down all the money himself. I *really* hope he's getting some of the Spotify investors band back together - e.g. Sean Parker...
