Spotify one listen = $0.0043. 100 listens = $0.44. Apple Music is $0.0078 per stream, $0.73 per 100. Youtube $0.00069 per stream, $0.07 per 100. Amazon $0.0040 per stream, $0.40 per 100. While Google Play Music has shut down, the figures were $0.0067 per stream, $0.68 per 100.

@SpotifyCares seem to be having a problem looking up for my 2020 #SpotifyWrapped playlist this year. Tried everything that’s been suggested. Any issues that could be the case for it? It just that it’s unusual for it to do that cuz I use Spotify quite often.

@DOPreston I admit I’m always jealous when the Spotify things come out! The only reason I have Apple Music over Spotify is that they pay their artists more – the service is much of a muchness really!

Despite lockdown, my listening time on Spotify is massively down and it's wholly down to being unable to find a USB-C headphone adapter that survives more than a week. Reluctant to give up jack headphones as they fit in cameras and around my hearing aids... Any suggestions?

@kohiwonomitai yeah i can understand that part, i also pay too much for like ingame content but thats bc i see the service is getting better and better and im really satisfied but in that case it doesnt go through the sales channel that is spotify who takes part of the revenue

@ashleyrcarman I haven’t done the napkin math to see what numbers Anchor would need to more than pay for itself, but eventually the main problem spotify will face isn’t nudging its music listeners into podcasts, it will be competing with all pod apps to be the best option for users

How many people straight up dont buy albums but then just listen to those albums in spotify, unlike piracy it's actually terrible for musicians cuz it gives people the idea that their streams support artists when they explicitly dont.

help i think my spotify top songs is broken cause i havent streamed 18 or watermelon sugar since like april and its in the top 10??? how??? and somehow strip that down is above remember and i have only streamed std like 9 times but i stream remember like at least once in 2 days??

Top artist of the year on @Spotify for me is some daft lassie I've never heard of and a tune which is so terrible I had to stop it after 6 seconds. Over 1500 plays of it since October apparently. #Hacked
