David Via 🔜 EWC26 Paris 🇫🇷 (@daavidvia) reportedTeam Liquid are in serious trouble in the EWC 2026 Club Championship... and it could cost them milions. After back-to-back second-place finishes in the EWC 2024 and 2025 Club Championships (which awarded the Blue Cavalry with USD$4M per edition, a total of USD$8M) Team Liquid are in serious risk of finishing outside this year's Top 10. With a total of 10 squads in the Esports World Cup 2026 (an 11th could join if they qualify for the CS2 edition) and considering previous results, Team Liquid were one of the favorites alongside Team Vitality, Team Falcons, VirtusPro, among others, to compete for this year's Top 4. However, after five of their ten confirmed lineups participations, Team Liquid sit at the bottom of the standings with 0 points. If the situation wasn't bad enough already, the five teams that have already competed had gathered half of last year's points (2,200 out of a total of 4,200 EWC CC Points) including: EA FC: 1,000 Points MLBB: 1,000 Points Dota2: 200 Points Apex Legends: 0 Points PUBG: 0 Points Zero points after the conclusion of Week 3 is horrible news for Team Liquid, who are now projected to finish just outside the Top 8. This would earn Team Liquid just an eighth of what they had earned from the previous two editions. Team Liquid can still get a fair share of points with Chess and Rainbow Six Siege being their strongest titles. Still, with only five more confirmed tournaments for the Blue Cavalry, the chances of finishing in the Top 4 are minimal. So far, the favorites to win the EWC 2026 Club Championship are Team Vitality, AGAL International, Team Falcons, and VirtusPro. Na'Vi deserve an honorable mention, as they currently lead the standings with only three participations so far.

Dustin Ciesiolka (@DDustinC) reported@Rainbow6Game Brother yall need to flat nerf ALL dmrs. Not just defense. The only reason theyre strong on def is because they have access acog. DMRS werent that much of an issue when all defenders had acog and thats a fact.

Dagger 323 (@dagger323) reported@CiaranOM4 @XboxArchives Just because it had some tactical parallels doesn't make it worthy of any praise. It's literally a PVP-only online shooter and completely omitted the vast majority of the features present in previous Rainbow Six games. Not to mention it's been Ubisoft's live service cash cow for almost 11 years running while they just lazily abandon any desire of making a quality entry into the series again that's worthy of the likes of Vegas 2. Calling it slop is fitting.
