There is no concrete solution to the problem of insta-lockers in a game like valorant because it thrives off the interactions and creative use of abilities since everyone gets the same weaponry and health pool. Any limitations would ruin the core of the game

@ValorINTEL I feel like a role que would be an amazing idea in valorant. I don’t necessarily think having a separate rank per role would make sense but adding a flex Que would solve a few problems in ranked. Where people can Que for the main 4 roles and have a separate Que for a flex role.

unlike overwatch where they have different measurements to level up classes (for example, support is measured by assists and heal), in valorant everyone is measure by killing amount so this would only cause more problems

@patriot_viper I7-3630qm, gt730m video card, patriot 256gb 2’5 ssd 16gb dd3 ram. Yes its laptop and yes, it needs to be upgraded. Csgo ~30fps (dont play it anymore bcs of lag) league if legends ~100fps Valorant ~100fps

@ThemurlocTwits @bpk428 @vengeful_vadam Plot twist, a live service game doesn't have a complete state, it's continously evolving, hence Infinite. Frankly, compared to most similar type games, Halo has it well and not ridiculous expensive like Valorant or Overwatch. Halo also does more than 1 map per season.

Again, total general discussion on this. Riot isn't implementing it, but also think that Role Queue helped fixate a lot of auto locking problems in OW. VALORANT only seems to have the Auto Lock problem with Duelists and Chamber pre-nerf

So been trying to push myself to play shooters. Third person is fine, no issues. First person can be rough if guns are realistic. I'm getting better with OW. Maybe in 2023 I will be better at dealing with my fears as I'd like to tackle Valorant one day.

@ValorINTEL Overwatch started as a non-locking role type of gameplay. It got really bad , everyone started to complaint. so they introduced role lock. It seems that the valorant community doesn’t have any issues at this point so it wouldn’t make sense to bring it to Val
