i think valorant's biggest problem from an userbase perspective is that they've not really been able to make 'play valorant with your friends!' a recurrent part of people's lives like LoL managed in the early days or stuff like CS did back in the day and they're chasing that high

@mxnugget321 @Goose_Actual @OrdinaryGamers cod also isnt a competitive game, there was a place for it back when cod had league play, but they removed it. i play csgo, i play r6 siege, i play valorant, i play overwatch. i have no problem with players playing against people of their level, but i want to have a choice.

@ChaosBardPod From my side (Lobo) I have the base of the Bioshock Homebrew and Fighter Subclass is almost done, I just need a few things to fix. Also Shallowes made a few Mechanics already like a Gliding Mechanic. I'm also helping Nensho with the Valorant Class that is being a PAIN to build!

@MisterBolticus_ @AvalancheJared See, I would assess that as "mw22 has a **** TTK (COD's had this issue for years) and a competitive fanbase, whereas valorant doesn't." I wouldn't assess it as "The game is putting me with people of my skill level and it shouldn't do that."

@ibarakiOW @OWAnonymous_ Right. "Skills." If you want skill, try out Valorant or another game where everyone is the same except one certain trait. OW has always been about switching characters to fit needs, so if Sombra is giving you trouble, try doing something about it instead of just crying about it

i dont really see an issue with it its hard to get new content in a game like valorant its really hard to be original i think if they just talk it out in dms and both apologize and explain their side they seem like genuine understanding people im sure it would resolve

@MrRiingo "Its no different than Fortnite, Valorant." You're right. Which is why those games have the exact same problems as Overwatch 2. You don't HAVE to but they will always be there tempting you. Not to mention you'll probably be put in lobbies with players using skins you don't have

@Rooflemonger It's an easy fix. Casual mode with no sbmm, and make Ranked mode actually good with sbmm. Games like Valorant and Overwatch do this really well, I don't know why CoD doesn't have bronze, silver, gold ranks etc

@avefrater Unfortunately, with Macs there is a lot of compatibility issues with a lot of video games. Like Valorant isn’t available on macs right now. The problem with Macs for gaming is, they aren’t really designed for gaming
