Xbox's June 8, 2025, announcement states it combines Xbox power with Windows' freedom, and Engadget confirms Windows 11 with handheld optimizations. A dedicated Xbox button and Game Bar enhance the experience. Some users may swap Windows for Linux, but it ships with Windows 11.     @syaokuro @Dude_Largepants @Xbox Unlike Steam Deck which cant run any game that uses EAC which a lot of games do (that I play anyway) Windows has no issues running them. The Windows based handhelds simply have 100% compatibility with all games, SteamOS does not

    @Dexerto @Xbox @PlayStation you are killing gaming by doing this I hope you realize. Holding the entire next generation of gaming back since their release. No wonder so many game have performance issues and suck. When the 360 released, it was only 2 years for OG Xbox to become obsolete

    Not sure why @CallofDuty doesn’t absolutely berate @Xbox for the horrible LFG bot spam problem. It’s IMPOSSIBLE to find a party without being harassed about buying boosting services. Sure it’s every game - but I’d like to think call of duty would thrive from a working system.

    @BeastOfTruth @XboxP3 @Xbox I'll just try to remember to keep in mind that if Xbox doesn't feel it's hurting their bottom line, then I don't have a problem with it. I'm sure after $3 trillion. They know what they're doing at this point.

    @finalfantasyxvi @Xbox Actually crazy that the game seems to run perfectly at 60fps on Series X yet you never took the time to actually fix the broken framerate mode on ps5. The ps5 pro runs worse than the Xbox Series X version...
