Uk Gilt yields have calmed down slightly and backed away from 4.5% as we wait to see what Andy Burnham does next. If Labour wants to avoid a bond market melt down, then they would be wise to think carefully before ditching Starmer and Reeves. @XTBUK

@XTBUK hi, I just deposit some money through Apcopay, but I received a message said: “due to legal issues we are temporarily blocked it”. Can I get any helps please.

  • KATHLEENBROOKS

Stronger us data is not impacting bond yields, Tsy yields are down so far on Thursday, but the dollar is stronger and is the strongest currency in the G10 FX space today. @XTBUK

@BarTPL @xtbfr the least you could do is tell us what ******** is happening and how long it would take your stupid asses to fix

  • KATHLEENBROOKS
    kathleen brooks (@KATHLEENBROOKS) reported

Yields were lower, but are now starting to rise in Europe. Gold is up $40, but is not back at record highs. Oil is up 7%, and may have broken into a new range around $75 per barrel. Again, not great, but it may only have a limited impact on inflation. @XTBUK

  • KATHLEENBROOKS
    kathleen brooks (@KATHLEENBROOKS) reported

There’s not much for bond investors to like about the UK’s fiscal policy right now. Which is a problem, since we’re reliant on them to find our growing national debt. @XTBUK

  • KATHLEENBROOKS
    kathleen brooks (@KATHLEENBROOKS) reported

A very negative tone to markets today. Silver and bitcoin lower, alphabet down 4%, the sell off is not over yet. @XTBUK

  • KATHLEENBROOKS
    kathleen brooks (@KATHLEENBROOKS) reported

If there was going to be a catalyst to disrupt the risk rally this week, I think it would have been a sell off in bonds. This hasn’t happened, which suggests that a structurally lower dollar for the long term is not a problem for markets right now. @XTBUK

  • KATHLEENBROOKS
    kathleen brooks (@KATHLEENBROOKS) reported

Brent crude oil still down nearly 5% today and is equity futures are pointing to big gains later today, with the Nasdaq 100 currently pointing to a 3% gain at the US open. @XTBUK

30% tariff for EU and Mexico. At first sight, This is bad news for EU, there were hopes for 10%. Tariffs to be imposed from august 1st. @XTBUK

@antoinextb @xtbfr WORST TRADING ACCOUNT I HAVE EVER USED. My advice to anyone wanting to open an XTB account is to avoid this company. The support is not existent, and their systems are broken.

@ChrisB_IG @XTBUK Agreed. It could be a convenient excuse to kick the can down the road yet again.
