    The bank of Japan is intervening in the yen to strengthen it. USDJPY is down 0.7% today and is backing away from The 162 level. The issue is, how long can intervention boost the yen? It doesn’t seem to have done much so far. @XTBUK

    Managed Net interest income was slightly lower than expected at $23.3bn vs estimates of $23.59bn. This is still a big number, but with interest rates expected to come down, the focus is on lower NII in future. @XTBUK

    Higher yields, a higher dollar and weaker stocks leading up to the Fed meeting at the top of the hour. Gold is also down $9 so far today, which suggests the market may be trying to get ahead of a hawkish message from the Fed today. @XTBUK

    @KATHLEENBROOKS @XTBUK @BBCWorld And on top of all this SNB is looking for intervention to weaken chf but with all this added against the favour of the currency it ignored all and continue to move higher, and what will slow it down and possibly makes it weak?

    @KATHLEENBROOKS @XTBUK Doesn't slow bond tapering from BOJ means gradual reduction of QE, and isn't ECB likely going to QE? so how does EU appreciate against JPY?....good read tho.

    @BiggusDickusGME @consorsbank can’t agree more, quite disappointed with customer service handling and service offering in this case. Checking out @xtbde hoping they support shareholder voting also for US based stocks

    30% tariff for EU and Mexico. At first sight, This is bad news for EU, there were hopes for 10%. Tariffs to be imposed from august 1st. @XTBUK

    It was easier when there was just one oracle on walk street, now every big hedgie who sells or buys a stake can move a market. Peter Thiel announced that his fund sold its entire Nvidia stake last quarter. Nvidia’s share price is down 1.5% in the pre market. @XTBUK

    What goes up, must come down. SpaceX is down 2% today and is back below $ 200 per share, after investors got nervous about its extended run up post IPO. This sell off is mild, and might be a normal pull back. @XTBUK
