kathleen brooks (@KATHLEENBROOKS) reportedA tale of 2 tech stocks: - meta’s shares up 8% in the pre market, Microsoft shares are down more than 6%. Meta has the ad revenue to pay for its AI ambitions. Microsoft’s early ai adoption is not powering earnings by enough, that’s why it’s getting punished. @XTBUK
-
kathleen brooks (@KATHLEENBROOKS) reportedIt was easier when there was just one oracle on walk street, now every big hedgie who sells or buys a stake can move a market. Peter Thiel announced that his fund sold its entire Nvidia stake last quarter. Nvidia’s share price is down 1.5% in the pre market. @XTBUK

Rob (@possiblydefinit) reported@XTBUK AVOID XTB - its a total disaster of a company - poor support - poor platform, a general disaster. See trust pilot for how poor this company actually is. Nobody nominated this company = I was their customer - its very poorly managed. NO help from support - disaster
-
PKwiatek 🪬 (@pawelkwiatek97) reported@VladimrB3 @xtbpl Brother, but i can't find something better or similar. If we ignore technical problems, they have the best conditions - 0% fees on GPW, IKE and most etfs, stocks etc.
-
Rob (@possiblydefinit) reported@XTBUK Don't get caught in this scam. Trustpilot has highlighted that there are scam reviews on XTBs reviews. I've been caught. 2 weeks in and I am still battling to get basic reports from the badly managed company. Incompetent staff are lying to me and reports are broken
-
kominkus (@kominkus) reportedDo you have any problems with the app because it doesn't work? @XTBUK
-
tfanget (@tfanget) reported@xtbfr down ?

kathleen brooks (@KATHLEENBROOKS) reportedUs software stocks are extending their recovery today. However, the broader tech sector is not following suit. Applovin up 2.8% in pre market, yet Nvidia is down 1.2%, and Apple also pointing lower. @XTBUK
-
Rob (@possiblydefinit) reported@xtbpl This is the WORST trading platform I have ever used. I would advise people to avoid setting up an account with XTB. I've been trying to get help with their broken system for 10 days now. They are ignoring me.

zeshan joseph (@JosephZeshan) reported@XTBUK - False Support / resistance breakout (advanced level)

kathleen brooks (@KATHLEENBROOKS) reportedA very negative tone to markets today. Silver and bitcoin lower, alphabet down 4%, the sell off is not over yet. @XTBUK

johannes (@yohanne56859746) reported@KATHLEENBROOKS @XTBUK @BBCWorld And on top of all this SNB is looking for intervention to weaken chf but with all this added against the favour of the currency it ignored all and continue to move higher, and what will slow it down and possibly makes it weak?

Jed Frankowski (@JedFrankowski) reportedToday, a polish fintech @xtbpl learnt the hard way that there are corners that one can cut, and others that we must be very persistent to do right. From what we know (and partially speculate on, based on pieces of information from users), XTB team used Integer for the ID of transaction. A signed one. They grew dynamically over last few years, which resulted in a dooms day today. The integer flipped. From MAX_INT to MIN_INT resulting in negative numbers of ID of transactions. This completely broke the system, and users can't do anything. Opening positions, closing positions - nothing works. And there seems to be no solution at the horizon. At least not one with a proper ETA. This doesn't look good, since this is literally a 101 of system design... Hopefully they can recover the system soon, but let that be the lesson for all the founders out there - do your homework. #xtb

Greg (@Greg08099243) reported@xtbpl Xtb France also down , seem whole Europe xtb is non working
-
kathleen brooks (@KATHLEENBROOKS) reportedBig moves to the downside for software sector yet again. Has the sell off gone beyond what is rational? Palantir posted 70% increase in profit last quarter. Will the us government really switch to an open source Claude plugin? Alphabet also down 2% ahead of earnings. @XTBUK
-
Vladimír B (@VladimrB3) reported@pawelkwiatek97 @xtbpl Okay, if you're not planning on CFDs, then probably yes, but even with any other trades I would be patient, there are really big problems with settlement.

John Stepek (@John_Stepek) reported@anotherfish759 @KATHLEENBROOKS @XTBUK 👏👏this is the sort of quality work I like to see
-
kathleen brooks (@KATHLEENBROOKS) reportedUk yields at highest rate since 2008. The pretenders to starmer’s throne need to think about this. Their legacy could be brought down by the bond market. @XTBUK
-
kathleen brooks (@KATHLEENBROOKS) reportedStronger us data is not impacting bond yields, Tsy yields are down so far on Thursday, but the dollar is stronger and is the strongest currency in the G10 FX space today. @XTBUK

kathleen brooks (@KATHLEENBROOKS) reportedThere’s not much for bond investors to like about the UK’s fiscal policy right now. Which is a problem, since we’re reliant on them to find our growing national debt. @XTBUK
-
kathleen brooks (@KATHLEENBROOKS) reportedBOE details: GDP forecast has been downgraded to 0.9%, CPI has had a large downgrade to 2.1%, down 0.7%. Unemployment rate forecast up, private sector wage growth down. These forecasts support more rate cuts. @XTBUK

Mark Dampier (@MarkDampier) reported@FundFanatic @XTBUK Perhaps if she had a personal problem she shouldn’t have come into the chamber. Those tears come at quite a cost!

-
kathleen brooks (@KATHLEENBROOKS) reportedUk Gilt yields have calmed down slightly and backed away from 4.5% as we wait to see what Andy Burnham does next. If Labour wants to avoid a bond market melt down, then they would be wise to think carefully before ditching Starmer and Reeves. @XTBUK
