  @HanlonKathie @joinmastodon you can stay on that and stay on here and still get on MASTODON it doesn't really matter what server you join, since you can still follow people on other servers. It's like an email address. You can still email people on yahoo mail from your gmail address. see DM

Both services are free, but I have now closed down my bt.internet email completely. I have an email for work, not mine though

  @yahoomail you charge people for plus (a client of mine is having the issue) and then only allow forwarding of all email instead of selectively by the sender’s address. Kind of useless and 1990’s.

  @Hformin @asafor_ndifor In the end it's about us having two definitions of the problem. I think they can be separate because it's possible for two different companies to provide the same solution but different UX... For example, Tesla vs Ford. iMessage vs WhatsApp. Gmail vs Yahoo Mail. Etc...
