@YouTube I hate the idea of this. If I look up a tutorial now, I won't know if it's doesn't work or not immediately. Also if someone uploades a hateful video, the dislikes won't show up to the public. Removing it will probably also make the comment sections in general more toxic.

@YouTube PLEASE do not get rid of public dislikes. In the case of "How To" videos, the only way to know which guides to follow and which ones to ignore is by checking dislikes and comments. Dislikes help us a lot!

@YouTube Not showing dislikes is supposed to make targeted dislikes disappear? Dislikes is one of the best forms of feedback, useful for creator, viewer, and algorithms alike. Not showing a dislike count publicly is in my eyes one of the worst decisions possible.
