Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • MrR0B1N Am I really Robin? (@MrR0B1N) reported

    @YouTube I need your help

  • KJ_Exp KJ (@KJ_Exp) reported

    @thomas_lahti @MKBHD @YouTube This is false just like life people will like and dislike you. If you can’t move on forward through that then you shouldn’t be on the platform in the first place. This doesn’t help viewers consumption and actually harms newer content creators

  • GrayderDe Master De Grayder (@GrayderDe) reported

    @BetoulieresM @YouTube Yes. It was terrible. I don’t mind admitting I cried. So tragic.

  • martinmooy Martin (@martinmooy) reported

    @MKBHD @YouTube People complain about the dislike counter affect their engagement. But without the dislike counter, there's no way to differentiate good quality videos from the other, and thus all videos become equally perceived as bad.

  • RobOnABike Rob H&ynes (@RobOnABike) reported

    @EKM2811 @YouTube I hadn't heard this, or any of their stuff until this year. I'd assumed it was just disposable fluff. This album turns out to be an astonishing piece of work.

  • TeslaBull2 TeslaBull (@TeslaBull2) reported

    @WR4NYGov @YouTube @TeamYouTube They are an effective monopoly and making a ton of money. Not a huge incentive to change, especially with the heuristic "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" that I'm sure pops in the executives' heads when they are rightly criticized for stuff like this and evil censorship.

  • thebigone001 Actually not (@thebigone001) reported

    @steedems @MKBHD @YouTube Show me less of this button is "Don't recommend channel". People dislike videos because the videos are a total waste of time or view baits. Imagine watching a 30 minute tutorial that doesn't work because the ytber deleted all the negative comments and you can't see the dislikes

  • BarbaraLKee Barbara Kee (@BarbaraLKee) reported

    @TheBcellArtist @YouTube Ha! If it isn't the kid it's the dog. She is fortunate to have "mum" to help out.

  • AutumnAllanFong Allan (@AutumnAllanFong) reported from Richmond, British Columbia

    @YouTube Your account is terrible.

  • for3v3rfaithful for3v3rfaithful (@for3v3rfaithful) reported

    @TeamYouTube @YouTube @YouTubeCreators Have good quality content because my actual engagement is not as high as it used to be. Basically, seeing 1K likes is not the same as seeing 1K likes versus 1 or 2 dislikes. Please reconsider this change for those of us who’ve worked hard and rely on the ratio to grow.

  • Bogdan22148173 Ionut Lazarescu (@Bogdan22148173) reported

    @MKBHD @YouTube for me it does not make a difference as I don't use that as a meter or quality indicator. It's just a love/hate button.

  • SinghHrPreet Harpreet Singh (@SinghHrPreet) reported

    @MKBHD @YouTube What if Amazon decides to hide 1/2/3/4 starred reviews & said "You can still review an item, if you didn't like it, or the quality was bad or if you received a soap when the site clearly said it's a mobile phone. We won't show those. It is our responsibility to protect sellers."

  • MyNameIsMurray Murray Webber (@MyNameIsMurray) reported

    @MKBHD @YouTube Unless, of course, they introduce another rating system. For example, the up/down votes on Netflix help that algorithm provide a suitability rating to the viewer, and helps with recommendations. Hiding the up/down votes then wouldn't be needed to find out if a video is suitable.

  • Micah_Hurt_ Micah Hurt is... (@Micah_Hurt_) reported

    @YouTube Just admit you're taking likes/dislikes away for help protect large companies. It isn't about small creators. You have been pressured by the big guys to silence the public. So now they can disable comments and no longer have a visible dislike count.

  • ___MDZY Lord MDZY (@___MDZY) reported

    @MKBHD @YouTube this is just going to prevent me from checking out videos from channels i don't know. terrible move by YT.
