@Bell @CCTS_CPRST how is this ok? They are trying to sell us extra equipment just to make there service work correctly. Why can’t the basic equipment provide the service?

Does anyone else have a Kingston @Bell landline not functioning? I know @Interval_House has lost service. One home customer is now being told service will be restored by Wednesday Sept 21.

@Bell You put fibre down my road but restricted it to the airport and MNR buildings. Really weird to not just invest the little extra to place a residential line, even if not fibre, when most of the digging is already being done. You'd rather stick to canopy, so tbaytel gets my $$$.

@AreYouis @Bell A very messy job. Did they string all that wire? Tell them to do it properly: use cable guides attached to the walls - an easy fix. They can even run it along the mortar - almost invisible.

When I called to reschedule, the @Bell rep said that it was just a programming switch for the bump in service and no one was needed to come to my house. Perfect. Then the internet got twice as bad. I couldn't watch TV after 4pm without it lagging.

@Bell_Support This is apparently a widespread Bell outage in Kingston Ontario. Not specific to one account.

@AreYouis @Bell Bell probably has easement rights to your property for installing infrastructure, like Hydro has. Allso they want you to install their services. Problem - they should have done this 40 years ago. They had the technology, but went cheap, & cable companies boomed as a result.

Hey @Bell @Bell_Support how can you not cancel my account and have a ticket opened when we already confirmed that it was to be cancelled on Sept 12. This is completely unacceptable. You are still charging me for something I am not using.
