@Bell_Support It’s been 4 days since my home internet not working. 3 technicians visited and nobody had a clue on what’s going on. And to get these guys appointment we waited for 2 days. Hope somebody will look into this asap.

@Bell who do I have to contact for fibre to the unit? Located in Mile-End Montreal and there is definitely fibre to neighbouring buildings. Hard to get online support to be useful.

@vesper1978 @Bell_Aliant @Bell_Support Well their stuff says its not VOIP. I wont argue, but in any event it's a known issue apparently with Home Hub 4000 and trying to use an internal DNS. Solution seems to be to turn off their DHCP and use my own.

@petersmithca @Bell_Aliant @Bell_Support What kind of home phone do you have? Is it internet based? Domain name servers just translate domain names into IP addresses. If your phone is VOIP, it needs DNS to connect to the phone network by establishing an IP session (roughly).
