@pluc @cogeco @Videotron In other markets where there's "competition" there is still only one physical grid, though, and one grid operator/maintainer. I have no idea how it works for cable network infrastructure though.

@cogecohelps Thanks Graham but I’m literally chatting with Cogeco right now and they are saying the website is not accurate or up to date. My postal code says no outages, Cogeco technician (yesterday and today) says there is still an outage,

You know what I love when the @cogeco @cogecohelps says there no outages and yet I come home from work (had working internet before I left at 10pm) and now its down again. And no way on their site under outages to report it... please. I just want to relax after work.

@cogecohelps @cogeco Is there any updated info on Peterborough service? Your website still says there is no outage at my address, but no amount of rebooting, unplugging/replugging will change the fact that there has been no service since Sat.

@cogeco phone/internet/cable down in Dundas since this morning. Power was restored quickly, but Cogeco still out. Website says ETR was 3pm, now changed to after 5pm - says follow social media for updates but there are none. Why is it down if power came back within a few minutes?

@cogeco I am really sick and tired of going to the outage map for an "updated ETA" only to find a script that just tacks an hour onto the time I checked. We're not morons. Give us real tangible dates/times. Peoples jobs are at stake here. I understand it takes time but be honest with us!
