    Hey @cogeco. Thanks for up selling me on a new product, giving me an appointment time and then saying I wasn’t home when I clearly was. Then when I call back you are unable to book me a new appointment, and no manager around to hear my complaint. Great service. Guess it’s Bell

    @TekSavvyCSR The day AFTER! July 3rd tic was submitted to cogeco, no followup till I tweeted service out again ~July23. I've explained the process is the problem. Cogeco comes back AFTER THE FACT and says no issues now. Doesn't help if not looked at DURING outage to see why so many

    @TekSavvyCSR NOPE, that didn't help resolve it. Just the standard, ticket to cogeco, cogeco checks AFTER THE FACT, and says things are normal. CLEARLY they weren't normal DURING THE OUTAGE. 2+yrs of this non-service! (I understand you are stuck w cogeco)

    @cogeco We live in Brockville & have been having problems recently with TV as well as Wi-Fi with computers. We have had a tech in and put new router in but still problems. Today we spoke with Chris from Burlington office and he had a condescending attitude. #CustomerService

    Terrible customer service with #cogeco #cogecooutages no pho or intrnt since the 8th. Tech came today said he’d be back but didn’t. Now saying can’t come out till the 21st. 2 weeks without phone/internet shame on you cogeco. Switching to #bellcanada Friday

    Cogeco, comes early for the installation, sets up Internet in 20 mins, gives us an upgraded modem/router bc why not. Bell, dicked us around for 2.5 weeks when we booked internet in JULY. “Sends techs out”, says it will be fixed but isn’t, hard to reach if there’s a problem.

    @BobGrimlock @cogeco You're not alone. Bad firmware update at 2 AM. Was able to swap out the modem at the local store until the tech comes on Monday. Had to downgrade from 360 to 120 for 5 days.

    So despite the fact that I paid my bill 8 days BEFORE the due date @cogeco decided to disconnect my service anyway. After 10yrs as a loyal customer I’m seriously thinking my friends are right about moving to a more competent service provider....

    For god’s sake. The router’s been reset again bc Cogeco told bro to. I did that 2 weeks ago and it took me an hour to set it up again and open a ton of ports. Now I can’t login anymore bc bro won’t give me the new login. :) Ahh today just gets better and better.

    At least in Ontario, geographical areas of cable service have all the cables owned by Rogers or all owned by Cogeco. TekSavvy and others, for example, have permission to use both, depending on the area.. Others only have the resources to pick one, limiting them to specific areas.

    To those wondering why you would pick an ISP that uses Rogers and then complain when Rogers has a huge outage: Canadian ISPs are either Bell (DSL, anything with phone lines), Rogers or Cogeco (cable) or another large ISP, and the rest are forced to "wholesale" those ISPs lines.

    @pierreabinader @ChippTheFox_RSE @RenaKunisaki @FlashChills @startca @OverAverageJoe @elkr_ Most third-party providers (Start, TekSavvy, etc) rent lines of both rcable (Rogers' infrastructure) or cCable (Cogeco). This outage was for rCable. Because these lines are rented, this means it's a Rogers issue and they need to identify and fix the issue.

    Restarted the router (again) and can’t access the router login (again). Literally the only way we’re ever getting a new router is if Cogeco themselves go out of their way to contact us and say “here’s an upgrade, yours is shot” bc my brother still 👏🏼 won’t 👏🏼 call 👏🏼

    @startca hey everybody there is an upstream issue in Brantford. Rogers is working on its all prep work for the infrastructure because Cogeco will be going through a major update between 12 and 2 a.m. and in order to initialize the d slams there has to be prep work involved
