@elkenergyinc Power came on this morning on Patrick Cres however it has gone off for a few seconds twice this afternoon. Wifi and cable are still off due to hydro ( according to Cogeco). It’s frightening how vulnerable you are with no hydro and your cell phone is not working correctly

@cogeco in all sincerity I have to say you are the worst company I have ever dealt with. Your epico and internet service is abysmal, only topped by your ‘customer service’.

@cogecohelps And the cogeco website still says there's no reported outages. This is the problem with Canada's telecom oligopoly. You have no reason to improve things because there's 0 competition. The customer gets terrible overpriced service, while rogers, cogeco, bell get more money.

Hi, our cable is working but not our wifi. That would mean it’s no longer a hydro issue but a Cogeco issue?

@cogecohelps @cogeco On the phone now again. It’s okay, customers are disposable to you. Current conversation on phone: ME: “I’m not paying for a service I can’t use, asking me to pay this is insane” YOUR REPRESENTATIVE: “Yes it is, that doesn’t seem to make sense” ??????????????

@cogecohelps This is the problem right here. If the cogeco website saying no outages detected in my area, then that means they have no reason to investigate and solve the very real outage we are experiencing. Its beyond frustrating that absolutely nothing is being done to fix this.

@cogecohelps Welp! Cogeco Helps was unable to get me tracking information that a modem has been sent, my internet contract starts tomorrow. If I don't receive one by then I will cancel the agreement under the 14 day satisfaction clause and seek service elsewhere. Will update thread tomorrow.
