@cogecohelps @cogeco As it was, many of us spent long times on hold, not knowing if the problem was with our equipment. Not acceptable.

@cogecohelps @cogeco Thank you. But why was Cogeco unable to keep customers informed during the repeated outages? A simple Tweet would have made life much easier for your customers. Even better: why not change your phone greeting to say "We are currently experiencing service problems in you area."

@hainsworthtv I’ve been with @startca out of London here in the Hamilton area using Cogeco cable infrastructure(who I left because of the stupid pricing). Speed always been consistent as advertised around 120 Mb down per my plan & have had no issues.

  • SwanBoatSteve Steve Munro (@SwanBoatSteve) reported

@iamdavidmiller One problem that arose from the transfer to Cogeco was that TDSB had a lot of problems with right of way clearances and pole attachments that would have been no problem for hydro.

  • narconecro Chris Stuart (@narconecro) reported

@cogecohelps so try to call tech support and line hangs up.. use chat and and they disconnected due to connection issues.. is Cogeco having a Rogers moment?

  • nikgazcs2 Nick Gazerro: Part 2 (@nikgazcs2) reported

@wayne_chow @bubbaprog There has NEVER been an a la carte service in Canada. There's requirements on what channels must be carried on basic and what American channels can be offered, but there's no a la carte (Cogeco doesn't offer a la carte)

Really wish there were more home internet options available in my town because @cogeco is absolute garbage and I would switch in a heart beat @cogecohelps

  • BigPapaGotti Isaac Gotchall (@BigPapaGotti) reported

@cogeco How is Cogeco dependent on the Rogers network? During the July 8 outage we also lost our Cogeco Internet cable circuit at the exact same time. Fortunately the Cogeco Internet Circuit came back online before Rogers services were restored, but a outage was experienced

@cogecohelps @cogeco Hi, thanks. yes it was all day Sunday with no message on the cogeco site to let people know. The internet is back up and running for now. Any compensation for the inconvenience and lost wages for your customers who did experience service issues and network failures yesterday?
