@cogeco Weird. The pole is standing. Was it a dip down the pole the car snagged?

  • flynn_fortier Flynn Fortier (@flynn_fortier) reported

@cogecohelps Cogeco seems to be down in Pembroke. Outage isn't showing in our area.

  • lilfill Jesse Fillator (@lilfill) reported

@cogecohelps @Coleman42 It is a cogeco problem though. No shovels were put in the ground. It was a suspended cable that was broken. In this case if it was in the ground we'd all still have internet lol

  • RenfrewCntyScan RenfrewCountyScanner/PoliceScanner.ca (@RenfrewCntyScan) reported

@cogeco A permanent fix would be a second and third fiber run for high availability underground. Until you do that everything on your network is temporary duct tape fixes. I'll be going to the CCTS because you have never resolved my issues to my satisfaction. Ever!

@ShartyMcWaffles @cogeco Hi there. I get your frustration. Silly question. How is it @cogeco fault if someone doesn't call Ontario One Call before digging? Or there is a vehicle accident that takes out infrastructure? At least they are trying to fix the issue and alerting us to the issue.

  • BobbyjoeXFSB Crystal | Commissions Open (@BobbyjoeXFSB) reported

They said its a cogeco problem but my neighbours who have cogeco as their ISP are not out.

  • aoserd hamlet (@aoserd) reported

@cogeco Why do you people have such poor infrastructure. Do you lay your cables on the ground??

  • BobCross1938 Bob Cross (@BobCross1938) reported

@cogeco Yesterday my business COGECO modem fried and I was told that the earliest someone could fix it would be Tuesday! Six days for a service call! Absolutely disgusting service... I just ordered Bell... Should have done it a long time ago
