Hey IRISH, apparently there a service outage for COGECO in the area. You may not be able to connect to the NCVLE or Google. If you are experiencing difficulties connecting, please know that this is not your issue but rather an internet outage.

@FernandaWaheart @cogecohelps @cogeco Its a DNS problem. Change your ip address from DHCP to static and your DNS1 to 8.8.8.8 and DNS2 to 8.8.4.4 These are Google DNS servers

@cogecohelps for those who can try switching your DNS servers on your router to Google’s servers (8.8.8.8 for example). This resolved the problem for me. Seems like Cogeco dns servers aren’t reachable.

@JorgeOdam @cogeco Yes, we should complain but that's all we can do. They still won't give everyone a $1.00 credit for the small inconvenience. Just change your DNS server settings until they get their DNS issue sorted out.

@cogeco was able to work around the outage by changing my DNS to Googles using 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4. I think the Cogeco DNS is down.
