    @startca my internet service suuuucks these days, my upstream is supposed to be 10mbps but after resetting cablemodem constantly i see 0.5mbps. Is something up with Cogeco/backbone?

    @cogeco The service was horrible in St Catharines, Belleville and Niagara Falls. Whenever it stormed we had no internet no TV. You're not reliable

    @cogeco should we be expecting massive issues again with the current situation? My internet has been consistently rating at 1/4 what I pay for for quite awhile now. Is there any improvements being made to handle the load? Considering switching at this point.

    @startca is there an update to the Cogeco internet work being done in Hamilton? I'm still getting sub 1Mbps upload speeds, and Start Tech support said to check back after 2pm when the work was supposed to be completed.

    @cogecohelps Thanks, spoke with a tech support rep and she worked some magic on the Cogeco side to try and fix the issue. We'll see what happens but so far it seems better.

    @startca It’s the same problem as always: internet is dog slow between 9-5pm, because everyone is using it and @cogeco (your backbone here in hamilton) doesn’t have the capacity… frustrating

If you're not able to call in when these problems are happening, you can run a Network Scan on our StartCARE app, and call us later to review the results. We'd like to see if there's anything we can do to help, so it's best to give us a call.

    @cogecohelps @cogeco #cogeco we have had three modems, a number of service people and numerous calls to your helps center, sometimes a few times a day and we only started using you in December 2020. FIX OUR INTERNET!
