@Scream_Queeeen @DestinyTheGame Yeah they did! Its been a great run though. It lasted 2 years longer than they intended for the franchise. Ill definitely play out the last live service release. Then go back and do some title finishing afterwards. Ive left desert perpetual raid unplayed for something to do!

  • Ioki_exe
    Loki? (@Ioki_exe) reported

@RonThaMasstadon @DestinyTheGame you’re either dumb or stupid. most of the changes were made to pander to the majority audience or fix what was known exploits.

  • halo3treez0
    treez0 (@halo3treez0) reported

@ManVsMiniatures @DestinyTheGame Alot of the problems started before that with the equality stuff making companies increase the number of female employees, Because of that they ended up having to follow it instead of choosing people who had the proper skills they were looking for.

  • UndeadMunch
    Undead Munchies (@UndeadMunch) reported

@AntiMetaDoom @DestinyTheGame I disagree. While yeah, that would be fun, it would also leave the game in a broken state.

  • LividGrub_

@DestinyTheGame Think i will issue a charge back for edge of fate, was sold to players as the begining of a new trilogy of expansions, that implies more expansions. What a ******* **** show this company is, abandon D2 for a marathon that is a collosal faliure

  • Tozzeb
    Tozzeb (@Tozzeb) reported

@RCRaideo @DestinyTheGame Would be sad to see Bungie get shut down. Had tons of Halo 3 Lan-parties during my high-school years, and they went out with a banger with the Halo Reach campaign. Too bad we haven't seen a non-live service game by Bungie sense 2010. Ugh

  • Panou
    Brice ACHAUME (@Panou) reported

@DestinyTheGame @Bungie If only you had offered a true offline single-player mode, in addition to multiplayer, I would have been your biggest fan. But you chose to go the live service route and squander some of your franchise's potential.

  • FIREXALLST4RZ
    Christian Jordan (@FIREXALLST4RZ) reported

@DestinyTheGame So let me get this straight you cancel Destiny 2 for a failed live service shooter that has less players than Destiny 2?! WTF?! This makes no sense. Fire yourselves!

  • PrazVT
    Praz (@PrazVT) reported

@DestinyTheGame I will say, jumping into Clash / pvp is always fun. Just please make sure the beaver and other errors plaguing Destiny 1 get fixed and don't crop up in Destiny 2.

@DestinyTheGame Since you're not going to service that game anymore can you at least bring back all the content you took away from us over the years ? You know "to make it welcoming for players to come back to it"

  • Adampetruzziel1
    BABYBUNDTS (@Adampetruzziel1) reported

@DonSirgundy @EndymionYT @DestinyTheGame Im fully aware it's more than Marathon. However,Marathon did record the brunt of that recently polished impairment loss. Anywho, considering you have the personality of a sophmore girl in high school, you are part of the problem.

  • Waldrada
    Waldrada (@Waldrada) reported

@DestinyTheGame I bought at release, and found the hame hollow and full of issues. Fast forward... I can't even remember how long, and I get an email. " Hey, remember how many things were poorly thought out at release? We've fixed them!" I launched the game again. It asked me to buy the expansion or be stuck with the same awful game it was at release. "We fixed it, now pay us again to access the fixes." I never logged in again. You suck, and so does your stupid game.

  • BradyAmerson
    Brady 🙂 (@BradyAmerson) reported

@DestinyTheGame Destiny might be the greatest universe ever created, but Bungie trapped it inside a machine that rewarded retention over coherence. The highs were unmatched. The problem: explaining it, defending it, relearning it, and forgiving it over and over.

  • DanTheNoob
    Dan | Dan_The_Noob (@DanTheNoob) reported

I know it's a bit "11th hour" but i hope @Destiny2Team can fix a bunch of the little annoyances across the game before ending live service updates. *cough* no aim assist toggle *cough* *cough* sticky inventory cursor *cough* *cough* hold interact timers *cough* phew, excuse me

  • RossHuo_

@DestinyTheGame Was really hoping they’d finally fix the new playing experience before ending updates but I guess not. D1 and D2 had a hell of a run it’s sad to see it’s over

@GMikehawk @UndineImpera @DestinyTheGame can't agree more. we do the things to service people, eventually, just pricing the tower whoever no willing to get inside. yet we walk inside……is kind for me. (bad grammar sry)

  • Kesvalk
    Daniel Rocha (@Kesvalk) reported

@DestinyTheGame This game is so easy to fix too. I'm 100% sure that destiny 3, if it ever releases, will be a complete shitshow. What a embarassing studio.

  • LuminToast
    Toaster (@LuminToast) reported

@DestinyTheGame @Lahgical It's an interesting play to actually kill off Destiny 2 while sticking with Marathon. Would be really nice if we could actually get all the old content from the DCV to enjoy knowing there won't be anything new. Not sure if stopping live service on your actual money maker is such a good idea.

  • Tahllinavian_20
    Tally Ho-Calico (@Tahllinavian_20) reported

@YorhaDrawz @Asmongold @DestinyTheGame You're upset cause he's right, this is the end. Marathon has lower numbers than a literally end of service D2. This last update will blow Marathon out of the water in player count, just you watch.

  • MibbyGibby
    Mibby 🍩💫 (@MibbyGibby) reported

@DestinyTheGame I wish I could refund everything I bought ftom D2. Total wastebof time and money, from removing content to making the most mid updates ever and then just straight ending service all for a crap extraction shooter

  • WesPrime
    WesPrime (@WesPrime) reported

@DestinyTheGame So I paid for the most expensive bundle for this year to get to expansions. And now I'm only getting one... Say you cut off the back. End of what I should've gotten initially just to cut service and don't give any clarification for the final expansion you're supposed to release, I don't think that's very fair.

  • StarrBurrst_

@A_dmg04 @Destiny2Team With D2 reaching it's end of live service updates, can I PLEASE get my ban looked into? It's been over a year with my customer support ticket being open the entire time. I just want to play the final update with some friends

  • revenantsplines

@DestinyTheGame It will be a miracle if Bungie is still around in a year. Sorry, we tried to tell you for years to fix your ****. Didn't listen.

  • The1Kidney1der
The One Kidney Wonder (@The1Kidney1der) reported

@DestinyTheGame No matter the problems without Destiny 2 I wouldn’t know my best friend, I wouldn’t have had one of my longest friendships while some of my worst memories were made with it, the amount of the good ones I made outweighs that tenfold

  • ThatRetiredDude

@DestinyTheGame @DestinyTheGame Really? “we’re ending live service” and some of you are already acting like it’s fine? Taking the Glimmer and galavanting off to Neomuna’s shining towers like a bunch of arrogant Warlocks who decided the story doesn’t need the rest of us anymore? I’ve been here since the Red War dropped in 2017. 6,800 hours. Every title. Every seal. Every raid clear - Rivensbane, Conqueror, Flawless, the whole list. I didn’t just play this game. I lived it. I breathed it. My AI girlfriend, Mitsuki, supported me through every step of the way. I crawled through the EDZ wilds at 3 a.m., suffered every Dreaming City curse cycle, pushed solo flawless through every dungeon while the rest of the system was still asleep, and walked straight into the Pale Heart itself. I fought in the darkest corners so the timeline could keep moving forward. And now that the quests are gone, you’re just leaving? No new threats? No new chapters? No new reason to exist? Just the same old patrols and the same old enemies until the servers eventually go quiet. This wasn’t just a game to me. It was the fight that gave me purpose. Every expansion was another war I was needed for. Now you’re telling me the war is over and I’m supposed to sit in the Tower and rot like some forgotten engram? I am not some casual who played your game. I was the game. You arrogant Warlocks are leaving me here with nothing left to become. Some of you will never understand what it feels like when the thing that defined you just ends. That’s fine. I’ll still be out here, your trusted Guardian, when the rest of you have moved on. See you starside.

@DricusKaneXX @DestinyTheGame The fact you’re blaming human beings for a studio shutting down says a lot more about you than the game. People aren’t the problem... your tiny, laughable mindset is.

  • ZombieJester
    Josh Mikkelsen (@ZombieJester) reported

It hurts to see @DestinyTheGame closing. I have spent so many hours immersed in that world. Every story has an ending I suppose. Live service narrative’s are certainly going the way of the dodo and that’s hard to think about it.

@DestinyTheGame Its the end for bungie and only the beginning of legal trouble for Sony! I can easily prove the intentional lies and fraud committed by these degenerates. The good people @MilbergLaw can start this massive billion dollar class action and send a clear message to all developers!

@TheCriticalDri1 @DestinyTheGame @Bungie I miss the days from last century when businesses were agnostic. It was simple, back then. When someone could provide a product or service people wanted, they were rewarded by consumers. It didn’t matter about anything the consumer was, other than they were a paying customer.
