@LadsLounge89 @infrarogue89 I’m absolutely doing exactly what you’re saying. You made zero point of any validity. Both have a max stream player at about 250,000. Current destiny 60,000 Halo 25,000. Your comment about live service is completely irrelevant Destiny is F2P. Your 2nd paragraph is Diabolical

  • code_Pramit Pramit Kumar Rana (@code_Pramit) reported

@Acepokeboy @theRealJayDub2 Also Destiny 2 had many issues but through patch they fixed most of them, the problem is most of these multiplayer games releases in a bad state...Destiny 2 had a lot of negative feedbacks but they were patched out with time, but some issues are probably still there

  • suchitchoudhury suchit choudhury (@suchitchoudhury) reported

@AlbtraumPuppe @The_CrapGamer This is not a tit-for-tat aquisition. Sony lacks MP/live service expertise, needed Destiny for the reason.

  • _VidiotGaming_ Vidiot Gaming (@_VidiotGaming_) reported

@AnthoNucci07 @Solidrev1 Looks like you forgot that destiny was a barren game pretty quick after it came out because all of the problems it had. They had to do a ton of patching and reworks to get people back. It took well over a year to get people interested again.

  • AtlyxMusic Owen Spence (@AtlyxMusic) reported

@DestinyNostalgi @demonjoeTV I'm sorry but D3 isn't happening. A D3 presents so many problems, and when they say "multiple games" that's referring to the fact that they're working on multiple new non-Destiny games, not just Matter. So you want them to release no new D2 content for 3 years to make it?

  • TheElderSky Lorenzo Albertini (@TheElderSky) reported

On top of this, there is the reward problem. Destiny has many rewards, few of which are good and only a dozen or so are meaningful for the progression. The whole progression would need a bit of restructuring because it's unbearable the level of chaos new users have to endure.

  • stellarmind1010 Schumi 🎃 (@stellarmind1010) reported

@Onekumar @joedudemanguy @JeffGrubb 1000 people with experience in making live service a game, a big live service game with a big following, possible a potential new IP that will be popular. Might not seem as much but Destiny 2 probably makes a lot annually and the talent is undisputed.

  • Verkatos 5⭐ Francis - Reverie Prince (@Verkatos) reported

And so our trek through Mt. Lanakila continues I'm trying to do the remaining trainer fights as deathless as I can because Banette's starting to lag behind in levels since I kept sacrificing it with Destiny Bond, thus it loses out on any EXP it could've gained We're almost done

  • Exg4Anubis kurama -J- (@Exg4Anubis) reported

@Kingpush3051 Meh it's only destiny 2 I'll still be playing witch Queen on the xbox so doesn't really bother me way I see it it's good for ps to get sum1 in to help with their live service and maybe get them some decent multiplayer games outta the deal

  • rusty_nl Rusty (@rusty_nl) reported

@JeshyQt they saw the state of Destiny 2 and were like "I can fix it"

  • obvioustroll694 ThE CoNsOle GaMeR (@obvioustroll694) reported

@RyangoFett_24 @dake_wo I honestly think destiny will be good for profits, but use their expertise in live service for a Sony first party game and use some talented devs on other PlayStation games

  • Hope76776127 Hope (@Hope76776127) reported

@Invader13285292 @BenjiSales So HBO is the biggest streaming service worldwide? Dont get me wrong iam all for quality. But to say stuff like doom, wolfenstein, deathloop etc isnt quality while Destiny is. No besethda has both quality and quantity. Their stuff didnt sell was the problem for them.

  • redmenace000 Jules✌️ (@redmenace000) reported

@nevek007 @KirbyZeii @AndreaPichinini I like AJ but Skillup is a far better reviewer tbh - and while he has his issues with it - he is the first to admit he is addicted to Destiny like a crackhead to crack. The latest DLC is like number 1&2 on steam right now. Where's Halo again?

  • LostFatebringer Fatebringer (@LostFatebringer) reported

@ui_tony @SkriIIaT @micah32909195 Even if nothing changes on the bungie it gives ps asses to a shooter studio and a company that know how to make live service games so even if it don't change destiny there expertise can be used in other first-party titles developed by Sony

  • Bikfic_ Bikfic- (@Bikfic_) reported

@DestinyTheGame So will they able to fix PS players in pvp , lagg/teleport like crazy or that will be them exclusive advantage... ?

  • BArtwohl Benjamin Artwohl (@BArtwohl) reported

@Yeshalot @AngryJoeShow This isn't really about Destiny. Sony said in an interview that the main reason for acquiring Bungie is that Sony wants their Live Service experience. Sony wants to make an "Aggressive push" into the Live Service market.

  • King_Marq2439 marques martin (@King_Marq2439) reported

@Ashdown_Kyle @XxSparkmanxX @DestinyTheGame Like i said if you feel like a god tier pve gun or a week or month exclusive strike will be a big problem coming out first on ps then thats your opinion man its gonna be the same game regardless of when stuff drops first on ps or not

  • LadsLounge89 Lad's Lounge (@LadsLounge89) reported

@Gwells07440347 @infrarogue89 What? If you're comparing a live service game that is in its 5th year vs a game that just came out then you're crazy. Destiny 2 in year 1 was shite, people hated the game. Destiny pvp has long been forgotten where Infinite is praised, even with the issues.

  • YouBrainlet YouBrainlet (@YouBrainlet) reported

@nickpryor @JoeMiller101 Sony wanted Bungie's proprietary tools and experience in making live service games. Sony is expanding their push into live service (while maintaining single player games) because it's where the money is at. Getting Bungie and Destiny were just a bonus.

  • BlueF8ce Blue (@BlueF8ce) reported

@DestinyTheGame Please dont take a year to fix Trials, and when you fix it dont kill it after 1 week

  • DdkSelby Selby Ddk (@DdkSelby) reported

@mark03396779 @XboxInfinite117 So wait... Bungie had halo and destiny, yet actiblizzard has wow, overwatch, crash bandicoot, spyro, the entire cod franchise and a few more bangers, and you say its comparable? What? Don't get me wrong, I love bungie for halo, but they got nothing else.

  • K_Langenbrunner Kyle Langenbrunner (@K_Langenbrunner) reported

@TheBrokeMessiah @Kingpush3051 How would moving to a new game i.e. destiny 3 fix the " problems" the game has, this is such a bad take you should def delete this tweet

  • _Westgarth_ Westgarth 🇨🇦 (@_Westgarth_) reported

@FailedPyro @kidsmoove Lol Destiny 2 was so broken and buggy at launch that it became F2P

  • firebreather764 ghost of Tsushima iki islands 🔥 (@firebreather764) reported

@PersonaSpeaks My problem was I hardly had any friends to play destiny with.

  • RyangoFett_24 RyangoFett_24 (@RyangoFett_24) reported

@SpinMasterXT @AngryJoeShow Destiny 2 will continue to be Multiplat. Bungie is working on a new IP Sony gets some expertise for live service games and lots of developers with FPS experience in case Sony wanna work on something like Killzone or Resistance

  • Donjo64781396 MP (@Donjo64781396) reported

@Mooch1978 Microsoft is also keeping released games multiplat like all the cod, warzone, warzone 2, crash, spyro, fallout 4, elder Scrolls 5 etc...they don't feel pressured because bungie didnt make anything new for last decade just destiny. But destiny 3 could be exclusive....only 1 game

  • BArtwohl Benjamin Artwohl (@BArtwohl) reported

@panthorium @Yeshalot @AngryJoeShow There are 100% other IPs in the works. Bungie has been teasing new IPs for years, and back in 2019, they said that they wanted to release a non-Destiny game "within the next five years." But this isn't really about IP. Sony wants Bungies Live Service experience.

  • phosphor112 Ali 🍉 (@phosphor112) reported

@JustAnLED He's diversifying the portfolio. There is nothing fundamentally wrong with what he's doing. Think about it. Sony has the best single player experiences. Closest game they have to a live service is GT but they don't monetize it the way Destiny is. They need long term games.

  • Illi90842965 Illi (@Illi90842965) reported

@iTz_F8TAL1TY @thuprithe @IGN Destiny is the biggest live service game ever. You're actually retarded. Destiny still has at minimum another three years. With a dedicated fan base. Sony made a good call considering bungies only game is worth that much alone.
