@MahGoy Why wouldn’t this work in your eyes? General curiosity as someone myself who has never played an mmo. The problem with destiny isn’t that content isn’t worth the money, it’s the fact there’s little content and people would happily pay more for more content.

Watching the whole destiny dumpster fire and im over here like "I buy the collectors edition every time so I see no problem that people paying for the deluxe and up versions get more content. *shrug*"

@Legendaryladman @DestinyTheGame @Bungie And again, Monster Hunter World was a live service game that for $100 ($60 base game, $40 DLC) offered at least 9 free content updates that lasted players about 3 years. So let's pretend it's monthly installments again: $2.77 a month

@Bungie it's messed up when y'all servers disconnect someone during a competitive match then then treat it like it's our fault and punish us. My internet rock solid. The only thing that ever disconnects is #Destiny2 . Please fix your ****.

@JpDeathBlade Ive tried getting friends into Destiny 2 but its so hard since this game requires a lot of commitment with both time and money. Out of 6 ppl only 1 stuck around and is still playing. I think the main issue is that it takes so much time just to be able to ATTEMPT the good content.

@acousticdonuts @vorpalslayer_ Yeah destiny has always had this odd problem with scenario preservation and just.. in general lore presentation. This feels so bad. its almost as bad as D1 having most of the lore (thats really interesting) thrown onto a website and never elaborating in-game.

I really hope @Bungie @DestinyTheGame fixes their server issue. Can't even join Fireteams without that error (unable to join target player) smh been like this since that new event. Please fix.

@FreyjasFistD2 @ravipathak59 @A_dmg04 I think the issue is there is so much confusion about what the dungeon is tied to. But making more content cost money. I think spending 80-100$ per year for destiny is really reasonable. Especially for the amount of content and quality.

@RickKackis Not getting the dungeons from Witch Queen NOR the season pass means I have to pay up $110. Normally not as much of an issue but I have to be as frugal as I can and dropping that much money on Destiny is a bit on the difficult side.

@SarahJenea Problem remains, microtransactions on a full price game with a game pass model to top it up, in 2019 destiny 2 made 300 milion dolars on the ever verse, Yeah people pays the money for the shinies, they know it, they still decide ro charge that ammount.

@IGN It will be a miserable live-service grind with RPG elements crammed in and numbers will fly out of enemies when you attack them, meaning no instant-kills or KO's until you farm for mats to craft better Sneaking Gloves. God, I ******* hate video games post-Destiny.

@BungieHelp Fix servers. Keep getting error code anteater and others. Keep getting kicedl from gambit, crucible, and haunted lost sectors. Not sure what you did, but servers are ******* horrible!

@Gionell @patwest000 @Nibellion Comparing FFXIV and Destiny 2 in general is dumb. Completely different engines and types of games. FFXIV can go on without the need to vault anything because it had no issues with bloat and extreme loading times due to having much lower quality assets.

@Lastedplace @nathINSANE With live service or MMO's it's honestly the best way to treat them. Burnout is real. Don't feel obligated to buy something if you don't enjoy it anymore. Destiny uses to be my comfort game. FFXIV has now become that even though I get the itch for Destiny with each expansion.

@BungieHelp I keep having this invisibility bug on PS5 and it‘s that awful. I mean i really would not bother if it wasn‘t in pvp and the enemy Players are invisible for the entire game. Please fix it now!!

@hibaristan What other game has there ever been that’s done this? Is this a destiny/bungie exclusive issue? “Oh y’all were playing it enough that means it doesn’t need to be in the game we’ll take it out and put this questionably better(?) content in. Then we’ll take that too after a year.

In the end I'm glad some content creators are standing up to the value problem with Destiny 2. On the other hand it's sad to see others more worried about staying on the devs "good side" so they are not cancelled. I mean values over money...amirite?

I see Destiny 2 is trending again... Here's my input on the issue. I'm willing to pay to get extras when buying dlc. But it should be limited to cosmetics and whatnot. Locking the dungeons behind an additional paywall when they were included with the expansions before is WACK

@grizznkev @MattyQuest It’s the classic Destiny problem: your hardcore fans were going to buy this anyway, but to potential customers or lapsed players considering getting back in, this feels like gouging. Really like D2 but it’s hard to recommend to folks.
