The new @googledrive that you're forced to use on Win 10 is an absolutely broken piece of sh*t. The original backup and sync worked flawlessly, this new one causes so many errors and failed uploads. Might have to go back to @Dropbox.

@druzif Are you giving Dropbox time to sync Drew? I've had issues when an inexplicable go slow happens on my network as the file is uploaded, but it's usually my router causing problems for me or a slow drive. Are you able to swap it to sync to Dbox first and then the EHD?

@Holy_Hendrix_85 @Randomamer @dpakman The one woman even mentioned they usually receive evidence that needs to be sent in a lossless way via dropbox. That wasn't done here and was likely compressed by someone's email server as they were haphazardly sending it around.

@simonbs I’ve been thinking of moving away from 1Password for similar reasons. Back when they allowed you to sync everything via Dropbox, there was safety in that if 1Password went down you had a backup of everything via a script on you machine. Now of course that safety is gone. :(

A few weeks ago, macOS started having this problem with the FG window randomly losing focus (in any app). After some research, started suspecting recently installed… #Maestral app (Dropbox substitute). So much for open source software being the solution to all our problems!

@sebastiangood Yeah, Google docs, Google photos, Pandora, Dropbox. Living bi-coastal I love the cloud. Downside is if internet goes down, I'm nearly helpless. I run R locally. Not much else. A bunch of cron jobs.

Switching to dropbox was a TERRIBLE idea. Now I have doubles in serato AND serato keeps forcing iTunes to read the dropbox folder and not the iTunes folder for some reason. Should've stayed with Google Drive smdh

I’ve got a file save issue. I’m saving my novel to my personal external hard drive and also Dropbox. But when I overwrite the file it says it’s done it but it hasn’t. I’m having to open the Dropbox file. Cute and paste the new words from my EHD file, and save that way. Help!?

@WFjordian Oh I forgot the file properties going down a level, though one of the Dropbox options got added back level with onedrive and Skype. I bet they rightly complained.

@pavolrusnak @GeoffreyHuntley That would make _too_ much sense, since the magnet link can't be taken down by a web service getting shut down, restructured or changing ownership. The NFT need to point to a Dropbox link of the .torrent file.

One week later and I’m facing the exact same issue. Arg! Just upload 4.2mb you silly sausage of a computer. I really should find some cash and start paying for Dropbox again. Oh the app is bloatware but it did sync. Bored bored bored of technology fails.

@Eibonfilms Yeah it’s had time. It even pops up with the box asking if I want to rewrite it. I had this issues yesterday too. It had 24 hours to sync and when I opened it it hadn’t updated. Maybe I just need to make sure I’m opening the Dropbox file and rewriting the EHD one every time

Okay maybe syncing Joplin to my ******* dropbox was a horrible idea. The ******* program keeps making dropbox freakout and yell "A FILE HAS BEEN DELETED" Which is also more of dropbox's damn issue
