    @Rogers @Fidomobile Premium charges and No service. Why there is this service outage? Looks like we are in some war era. Such outage of services is not acceptable at all.

    UPDATE: @RogersHelps has put out a statement re: @Fidomobile and @Rogers national outages and says that the root cause of the outage involves a recent Ericsson software update that affected a piece of equipment in the central part of the wireless network.

    @FidoSolutions @Fidomobile @Fidomobile I rely on mobile phone and data for my daily work and I'm force to take a day off today thanks to the unprecedented interruption on the network...I understand your difficulty but who's paying for my lost income today?

    @BurmeseTornado @Rogers @Fidomobile I've been with fido for over two decades, and it's been great for me -- never had a problem...until today. But this is close to the worst period for me to be without service.

    @ShamusMcfamous @AboutRogers @Fidomobile If they upgraded the active core, they probably did the same with the standby nodes. There's probably a bug in the upgrade (CPU overload etc), so the redundancy wouldn't help much. Just my guess, but it's possible - the timing suggests something like that.

    Just received a bill from @Fidomobile which I was able to pay despite the fact that they and @Rogers have been down all dang day. That’s because my internet provider is Telus. Which is still very much working. Y’oll want to hurry up there...?
