@Fidomobile I’ve had no service all day. With most of us working from home this is unacceptable. Do better. 🙄

@CaitieRage @Rogers @Fidomobile ABLEST AS ****! I literally have solidarity anxiety for you and others today. Doctors don’t even go into the office neither do their staff, they call you from cellphones/home phone. There is no way to just reach them, also like NO ONE KNOWS HOW LOMG IT WILL TAKE TO RESCHEDULE!!

UPDATE: @RogersHelps has put out a statement re: @Fidomobile and @Rogers national outages and says that the root cause of the outage involves a recent Ericsson software update that affected a piece of equipment in the central part of the wireless network.

@AboutRogers @Fidomobile Uhm, one piece of equipment can take down your whole network? Seriously? Nope not buying that. You guys have redundancy’s for everything. This reeks of ransom ware hacking

@Fidomobile @FidoSolutions I need some sort of compensation for this! It’s 1600hrs and I still don’t have service. Why?!

Nancy Gillow

@Fidomobile, been without phone service all day. I’m sure not having my only source of telephone conversation and data unavailable to me for a full day (and it continues) will be reflected in my next bill.

Sarah Buckley
(@Sarahgbeee) reported
Just received a bill from @Fidomobile which I was able to pay despite the fact that they and @Rogers have been down all dang day. That’s because my internet provider is Telus. Which is still very much working. Y’oll want to hurry up there...?

Half-Vaccinated Raptor Borealis 🇨🇦🇮🇱
(@RaptorBorealis) reported
@ShamusMcfamous @AboutRogers @Fidomobile If they upgraded the active core, they probably did the same with the standby nodes. There's probably a bug in the upgrade (CPU overload etc), so the redundancy wouldn't help much. Just my guess, but it's possible - the timing suggests something like that.

@Fidomobile @Rogers you *******. Over priced bullshit services that don’t work, 0 accountability for the losses your incompetence costs. And **** all that rainbow **** you guys keep pushing. It’s not normal.
