Fido Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • iamdieroiramor rr. (@iamdieroiramor) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@Fidomobile contacted me today with the worst retention offers. I’ll gladly stay with Virgin mobile since my over 10 years of loyalty meant nothing. In this economy, I refuse to spend more than $40 for a phone plan.

  • CasualPopFan Casually Fanatical (@CasualPopFan) reported

Always been happy with @Fidomobile, but the inability to reach someone on the phone is maddening. I keep going through phone prompts & always end up being directed to go online. Customer service is important, and online is not it. I'm aware of the irony of complaining on twitter.

  • anishastwt Anisha (@anishastwt) reported

@Fidomobile I’ve been trying to cancel my subscription from last two months. I was supposed to pay $45/month but my bill is $300 for just 3 months. Can you please stop adding my bills every month and improve your customer care service thanks

  • kapilrautela Kapsicum (@kapilrautela) reported

@Fidomobile Is the internet down ? L5A area? Its been 1 hr already

  • fredtehranchi Farshad Tehranchi (@fredtehranchi) reported

@Fidomobile You could have done what #telus and #koodo have done by making the calls and texts free to #iran at this point of time. you lost many people's trust by Internet outage few months ago and it could be a tiny step to make that up!

  • CoffeeGeeker Mark in Victoria 🌻🇺🇦 (@CoffeeGeeker) reported

I guess being a @Fidomobile customer for over 20 years now has perks. Just updated my 2yr contract, and put @beciamecia on it too, and after discounts, loyalty boosts etc, we're paying around $45+ tax ea. a month for over 25gb data, unlimited calls and text. Quite happy w/ that.

  • tarashant1 tarashant (@tarashant1) reported

@Fidomobile Hi, what about calling people in Iran for free due to the current protests and internet shut down? my plan has free unlimited text messages from Canada to Iran but the government also limited the text messages coming from international numbers ... #MahsaAmini #OpIran

  • eshnemati Esh Nemati (@eshnemati) reported

@Rogers @Fidomobile @chatrmobile Spent 5 minutes on the phone with my parents before my balance reached zero! Now been waiting on the phone for more than 40 minutes on the Rogers customer line to ask why. Thanks a lot!

  • BrandonGassi brandon gassi (@BrandonGassi) reported

@Rogers @Fidomobile @chatrmobile How about you waive my bill for 6 months? Second time in 2 months you’ve interrupted service. Both my business has suffered, and my personal phone isn’t working. You guys are a **** company. You still get your money!

  • FidoSolutions Fido Solutions (@FidoSolutions) reported

@A79Amir @Fidomobile Hey @A79Amir, To help Canadians stay connected to loved ones, effective immediately until October 17, midnight, we’re waiving long-distance and SMS charges from Canada to Iran. -Lony
