@FidoSolutions @Fidomobile Any updates on service restoration? I am without any cell or data service for my 2 numbers from morning.

  • JayWhyteMedia Jerrod McGuigan (@JayWhyteMedia) reported

@Rogers These copy and pasted responses look so bad for you guys. I don't even have a Rogers phone, but because you own @Fidomobile my cell service is dead as well. No info, No customer interaction, no return of service. This is why Monopolies should be illegal.

  • MaryPocrnic Mary ✍🏻 P🧜🏻‍♀️ (@MaryPocrnic) reported

@Fidomobile I thought the whole point of having another line (a landline) was so I could have access to a phone when/if cellular service goes down? Landline is down too, so really no point. #rogersoutage

  • AkhtarJa Javed Akhtar (@AkhtarJa) reported

Having a 12-hour (and counting) @Fidomobile outage is a great way to run up against the limitations of 2-factor authentication that relies on text messages. Also @Fidomobile has, like, zero information about this outage aside from platitudes. Useless.

  • raad_seraj Raad Seraj (@raad_seraj) reported

@Rogers @Fidomobile down nationally for over 12 hours. Cant call, text, use bike/car share, run errands, or book vaccine appointment. Well done Canada. Joys of an oligopoly that has no accountability.

  • DhrupalSuthar2 Dhrupal Suthar (@DhrupalSuthar2) reported

@FidoSolutions It’s not an intermediate outage. @Fidomobile it’s been a whole day. I know you guys are working so hard but we need the network to connect with people because in this pandemic this is the only way to interact with others. Please solve this asap.

  • Emma_Royds Emma Royds (@Emma_Royds) reported

@FidoSolutions @Fidomobile What are you going to do to compensate for the inconvenience. What do people do who have an emergency? It's a contract. You are not holding up your end by not providing what is paid for. So, you need to do something for you customers. ASAP, I'll be going to another provider.

  • ETito604 Tristan Elliott (@ETito604) reported

The fact that @Rogers & @Fidomobile still haven't resolved their service outage is outrageous. I look forward to the corporatists explaining to us peasants why "ACKSHULLY it's very important, for national security, that we allow the telecom oligopoly to continue!"

  • _bibi_G_ Prab (@_bibi_G_) reported

I pay way too much for my cell service to be down for so long! Wtf is going on??? @Rogers @Fidomobile #rogersoutage

  • ada_obioha Ada (@ada_obioha) reported

@Fidomobile y'all are definitely not charging the highest cellphone bill for the whole country to be out of service for the entire day.
