@FitbitSupport @fitbit the email announcing the end of challenges is a major bummer. It's the ONLY reason I kept my FitBit when I got an Apple Watch. I've been doing challenges with the same group of people for YEARS. This is a MAJOR ERROR on your part. Please reconsider.

Has anyone noticed an issue with @Twitter where a new/original tweet shows up under Tweets & replies but NOT under the main Tweets page?? Between this and @fitbit dropping challenges (boo @Google), technology is really annoying me this morning... 😠

@FitbitSupport Is Google killing you? Seriously. The rather poor service status over the past few weeks, and now the challenges are being switched off? Boo, I say. A big fat BOOOOO.

Hey @fitbit, why are you doing away with Challenges?! They help keep me active and they are the only reason I bought a Fitbit over an Apple Watch. cc @DavidCohenEsq

@fitbit y'all look very tone deaf right now, you do realize that challenges are the only reason people are still buying your devices, right? Please reconsider this really bad move

@fitbit is doing away with the challenges the end of March?? That’s the only reason most people wear one. Bad move fitbit #fitbitfail.

@fitbit @ThatBigPY I do feel bad for you as I know you are just a social media person…but let your higher ups know the replies are BS. It comes across as insincere. You guys don’t care. Im mad I bought a new Fitbit in December that will basically be worthless soon.

Fitbit ending Challenges is one of the worst decisions I've seen a company make. The only reason to stay with Fitbit over a Samsung or Apple smartwatch is the community and competition aspects that Fitbit brings. It's why I have stayed until now. @fitbit @FitbitSupport

@FitbitSupport Wow what a terrible business decision. Definitely losing me as a customer as that is the main reason I’ve stayed with Fitbit as opposed to moving to an Apple Watch. Disappointing…

@FitBit what a trash move to take out challenges and adventures. That's a big part of why I even use FitBit is because I enjoy competing with friends and it keeps us motivated. Why would you remove the biggest selling point of your product? #fitbitchallenges #fitbit

@FitbitSupport I don't think you all. Graphs have been broken for 9 months with no resolution in sight. When logging food from the app was down, it wouldn't have taken 3+ months to fix. Challenges and open groups wouldn't be going away. Fitbit is actively making the product worse for customers

@FitbitSupport We shall see. Seems like a bad idea to cut all the features that encourages people to exercise more together. Maybe fire the employee who decided that and get better people. So frustrating that you kill friend groups like this.

And on this day, @fitbit died. It was a slow death - first came the email, then came the #challenges & the last gasp of #groups. Then the pain as thousands upon thousands fled as fitbit died in ignominy, mourned by many & then simply forgotten as @apple & @GarminFitness rejoiced.

@fitbit WTH? Please reverse this terrible decision. Bingo does more for my motivation than anything. I compete with family and friends. I really don't see any reason to keep Fitbit if you remove this feature. I can get any of the other fitness trackers out there. Please don't

@fitbit @OnlyAlice I keep seeing this stock response, what does this even mean @fitbit?! These challenges are vital to so many of us. Why are you removing them?! If you remove this feature I know of dozens - from the large scale challenges I help run - who will quit and just head over to apple.

Bad move @fitbit! The challenges are the whole reason I bought a Fitbit instead of a Galaxy watch! I will be canceling my premium account as soon as your challenges end, and I'll transition myself - and the 6 people I bought Fitbits for - to another brand.

@FitbitDev @fitbit @FitbitSupport - why are you removing the challenges and adventures?! That’s a terrible idea! I like the competitive nature with my Fitbit friends to get in my steps. And that’s really the only reason why I didn’t get an I-watch. I joined 10 years ago!
