Big shout out to @FreedomMobile who told me that nobody at their company will sell me a new phone online or through customer service and that if I didn't want to interact with somebody in person, I should change providers. Cool pandemic precautions.

@freedomsupport 4 people, $40x2, 25x1, 30x1 ... gone. Interesting sort of economics you've got going there, but I won't contest it if you feel losing a 7 year (and otherwise fairly likely to be faithful) customer over $30 is worth it. I run the account, so the others are coming with if you want.

@clpolk @freedomsupport Mine's been that way for about a year. @googlefi has no support infrastructure that I can tell, doesn't answer emails, and is basically useless. I'm looking for a new carrier.

@freedomsupport If you’re real intentions are customer satisfaction and service, maybe invest more in Training and development. Might help to retain the customer at least. You’ve done enough for the day! Waiting to get over the plan ASAP.

@freedomsupport And again, I only went to store because online was impossible. I sure as **** didn't want to do in-store! It's the first time, and in light of all of this, waiving the fee does not seem like an unreasonable request. Hell, I got screwed on the $120 promo too! Loyalty be damned!
