@TELUS @TELUSsupport YO! I'll be calling in the morning to cancel Internet and Mobile with you. Time to go local with a different ISP and I guess @FreedomMobile ?

  • AliceRoseAnew Mx Penny Rose 🌹 (@AliceRoseAnew) reported

Today is my last day of being a customer of @FreedomMobile. Changing my account name should not be harder than cancelling my service and arranging service with one of your competitors. The manager at my local store was apathetic and told me to visit a different store. So I will.

@AdamOculporate @freedomsupport It really is. They comped the device the same before they changed the rules this way. It just allows them to bill a customer who moves out of the coverage area. It's still an acquisition tool for marketing except now we are the ones paying for their recruiting.

  • AliceRoseAnew Mx Penny Rose 🌹 (@AliceRoseAnew) reported

I don't suppose you want to give me an unhelpful message @freedomsupport? I already know you can't help, because your company's policies enforce systemic transphobia.

  • Rootbrian_ GNU/Linux-using Rootbrian's updates and thoughts (@Rootbrian_) reported

@GeekyGoldenberg @FreedomMobile All carriers do that. Just read the fine print. If you purchase the device outright from the manufacturer (or another carrier - you don't even need to be customer, just mention you WANT to buy it regardless as I did), then no such fees exist.

@FreedomMobile The phone is expensive crap with nothing in the way of innovation.

  • snowstone 雪石上人 (@snowstone) reported

@freedomsupport I haven't seen a 3g logo on my phone for years. Now I see it on my phone using freedom service.

  • Anand11112293 Anand (@Anand11112293) reported

@FreedomMobile I am amazed by the response your customer sevi ve or your store guys give. I applied for a pre preset of iPhone pro 14 and when I calm customer today they say they have no idea, I call the store that I did pre order from they say they have no idea. Amazing…

  • AdamOculporate Oculporate (@AdamOculporate) reported

@freedomsupport Yes, a fee to cancel the service no longer desired.

  • 82bonez Bonez (@82bonez) reported

@FreedomMobile Freedom has the most strict credit requirements and the worst network ever. No thanks
