An open question for Canadian telcos over the Rogers network outage earlier this week. Why did you deny Canadians the ability to dial 911? Shame on you @Bell_Support @TELUS @FreedomMobile for failing to provide such a critical service to Rogers customers in need!

  • kentcclark Kent Clark (@kentcclark) reported

@freedomsupport I'm in Seattle and have purchased a Big Gig USA one time add on. However, I can't seem to connect. By default my phone connected to a 3G T-Mobile network, but can't get calls or messages through. AT&T and T-Mobile LTE networks don't register when I try. Help?

  • dantedipasquale Dante Di Pasquale (@dantedipasquale) reported

@freedomsupport Blanket compensation package applied to accounts in response to the internet outage (July 7th-10th, 2022) or will Freedom require us to individually ask for it? You say the latter; I say goodbye. Freedom clearly depends of pre-existing monopolistic infrastructure.

@freedomsupport @Mantoniette13 No **** same in BC. Apparently Mon it's over

  • fanCRTCProfling Commissioner Miner (@fanCRTCProfling) reported

Has anyone found out why #freedomMobile was down in Gatineau and certain parts of Ontario? Tower/resource sharing thing?? #CRTC

  • sarahkbingler sarahkbingler (@sarahkbingler) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@npcforster @JulieMDPanneton I am @FreedomMobile customer. Not happy with this.

  • Valeria68994860 Val erian (@Valeria68994860) reported

@FreedomMobile WOW, talk about a rip off in overages fees for a bit of roaming in the US. +$220 for less than 100mb and 1hr call to a toll free. Stupid me for not getting a Tmobile sim for $25 and 10Gigs

  • npcforster Forster 🌻 (@npcforster) reported

@sarahkbingler @JulieMDPanneton @FreedomMobile Good news! Rogers has to sell off Freedom Mobile. Bad news: Quebecor has been *approved* to buy it but it seems they use Rogers networks for 4G. There’s no real choice in Canada.

  • TimiTV4 Timi TV (@TimiTV4) reported

@vote4robgill @Rogers I knew Rogers compensation would be a joke. The only message those clowns will get will be their wallets getting hit hard. Move to another service, @FreedomMobile has great offers and pricing. From what I read you can take your cell number with you.

  • IamBadassER _Kudos (@IamBadassER) reported

@FreedomMobile you are my crutch during this outage 🤌
