  • MlleCheeatow Tiffany Chee-a-tow (@MlleCheeatow) reported

Just a heads up that @FreedomMobile changed the way they charge for data roaming and I was hit with a $94 charge for a DAY TRIP to Buffalo. But don’t worry, customer service was able to knock $30 off of that while they kept telling me “next time buy an add on”

  • marsmarine462 Jordan Langley (@marsmarine462) reported

@FreedomMobile Still overpriced as **** and you don’t even have 5G. No thanks

  • mxaether ✨kam✨ (@mxaether) reported

@freedomsupport Which I understand might not be a feasible thing, but these rates really feel very on par with regular full-size telecoms (Rogers, Bell), when we're paying our monthlies at a similar price for less service area. So what exactly is the benefit over-all?

  • Rootbrian_ GNU/Linux-using Rootbrian's updates and thoughts (@Rootbrian_) reported

@askmewhatdeezis @LFalasca @FreedomMobile If you're talking about the outage, that I can understand. One removes the key (sim) to the network from the slot, and then you *can* call 9-1-1, since it'll connect to any available working network, that being bell or telus in that case.
